PURE ENERGY
BY – RAYDON COOLEY
[2017]
At the
start, there were only two Creator Spirits, and they were composed of pure
energy that was manic. The Spirits pulled some energy together into one place
and unified it. This energy began to sparkle in the darkness, so the Spirits
pulled in more energy and created power, a power that began to shine and light
up the dark. The one Spirit liked the brightness of this powerful energy and
was pleased, but the other wanted a gentler power. The gentler Spirit pulled
together energy and made it solid. This solid energy did not shine like the
more powerful Spirit’s energy, so the gentler Spirit placed its solid energy
close to the more powerful energy and saw that the solid energy glowed in the
light of the more powerful energy and was pleased. These two spirits committed
to synergy together and pulled more and more energy into direction.
After many millennia, the two spirits recognize they had
created desire. This newfound desire caused them to yearn for a new
spatiotemporal Spirit. They pulled an enormous amount of energy from this
Universe they both had created and made true love, thus creating the original
guardian of desire. When this new guardian Spirit was born the energy Spirit’s
became conscious that they had created magic, and they were joyful.

I want to love.
On the edge of life.
Liven it with you.
One day at a time.
I don’t want to know.
What the future may hold.
Liven with danger.
We’ve got to be bold.
Up in the Ether.
Where Entities roam.
Drifting through space.
That the Gods call home.
I want to love.
On the edge of life.
Liven it with you.
One day at a time.
I don’t want to know.
What the future may hold.
Liven with danger.
We’ve got to be bold.

CHAPTER ONE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
At the age of
seventeen, Neilaya Monty perceived herself as a foreigner in her own hometown
and was looking forward to graduating high school in just a few months. When
your father is the preacher at the community church, and you are a true
believer yourself, it makes it a challenge to obtain homies. But she held on to
her faith and consistently attended church, never missing a single bible study
class.
Standing five
feet eight inches tall, with an athletic frame of one hundred twenty lb. and
long wavy blond hair, along with the unusual twinkle in her big deep blue eyes,
she was something to behold. She loved her daily workouts and always looked
forward to her weekly martial-arts training.
There is one
person who she considered a true friend, Joey Coaly. She met Joey at church
about six years ago when his family moved into the neighborhood, and they
instantly became besties. His parents were big on homeschooling, which only
gave them time to socialize at the local burger shop over milkshakes after
church. The best aspect Neilaya liked about her best friend was he never
disrespected her, not once had he even attempted to kiss her.
Joey Coaly is
seventeen years old and a slightly chubby young man, not much on exercising;
Five feet seven inches tall; one hundred fifty lb. with brown eyes and brown
hair that he let grow down just below his shoulders. He also shared the same
birthday as Neilaya.
This Sunday
afternoon the two teens sat in a booth at the back of the burger shop sucking
down chocolate shakes. Neilaya put her hand up to her head trying to control
the brain freeze from the cold drink as she made her inquiry.
“Our birthdays are in one week; do you
have any plans?”
He slowly
glanced up with a sly smile as he responded.
“Nope, mom and dad are going up north
to visit my sister Kara. So, I’m just going to chill by myself.”
Neilaya thought
for a moment as she continued to slurp down her shake, then quickly looked up
at him with an intriguing proposal.
“I don’t have anything planned either;
maybe I can ride over, and we can chill together.”
His expression
instantly changed to seriousness as he quickly countered with a firm voice.
“NO! No Neilaya, I just want to chill
all by myself.”
She glanced out
the window and watched her father pull into the parking lot, then stood and
ruffled up Joey’s hair before heading for the exit. When she reached the door, Neilaya
shouted back at him.
“See you next Sunday.”
Joey
sarcastically whispered his response while raising a fist into the air, then
went back to slurping down his shake
“Yap; praise God.”
Monday morning,
her homeroom teacher clapped his hands to quiet the class. Neilaya sat
listening to the silence and waiting for Mr. Grady to begin rollcall, but it
was not his voice that broke the stillness. The high pitch squeak that old
hinges make filled the room, and every eye quickly turned in the direction of
the door as it swung open. Each student sat mesmerized at the beauty that
walked through the door with long straight fire engine red hair that appeared
to magically glow. This captivating young woman proudly strutted across the
room toward the teacher’s desk as if she were in control of the whole world.
Mr. Grady took the slip of paper she held out toward him and began to read it,
then turned and informed the class of the new student.
“We have a new student, Miss. Sylvia
Mars.
Mr. Grady
pointed toward the empty desks lined up at the back of the room as he gave her
a directive.
Miss. Mars, find yourself an empty
seat.”
All eyes were
transfixed on the magnificent mythical beauty as she slowly gazed around the
classroom. Neilaya felt a warm sensation engulf her body when this tall
mysterious beauty locked eyes with her for a moment, then Sylvia slowly made
her way up to the girl that sat in the aisle next to Neilaya and stared down on
her. The girl seemed to suddenly fill with fright as she quickly pulled her
belongings together and headed toward the back of the room where the empty
chairs sat. Sylvia took the seat next to Neilaya and gave her a friendly smile
as she reached and softly placed her warm hand on her arm. leaning across the
aisle, she looked deep into Neilaya’s blue eyes and with an entrancing voice,
whispered softly.
“You are so cute.”
Neilaya was
frozen in place for a moment when she noticed a tiny speck of red, that for a
split second, quickly sparked in the center of the stranger’s sky-blue eyes.
When Sylvia withdrew her hand, Neilaya felt an electrical spark leap from her
fingers, causing the warm sensation to burst into a full-blown hot surge. She
could feel the redness in her face as the electricity covered her entire body. Unable
to comprehend this unknown sensation, she quickly looked down and opened one of
her books, then pretended to begin reading
Sylvia was a
mysterious captivating mystical girl that claimed to be eighteen; six feet
tall, and a slim one-hundred-twenty-five lb. with long straight fire-engine-red
hair that seemed to slightly glow; deep sky-blue eyes; and large breast, which
she arrogantly displayed.
The only two
classes they shared were homeroom and math, and Sylvia made sure to sit next to
Neilaya in both. She seemed gentle enough, not pushy, even when sitting across
at the lunch table. She would just give a gentle smile with that tiny red spark
in the center of her sky-blue eyes, which confused and enthralled the
small-town girl.
It was
Wednesday at lunch before she finally got up the nerve to speak to this
beautiful stranger that had her encapsulated. She tried her best to prevent
revealing she almost never conversed with others as she glanced across the
table and nervously spoke.
“My name is Neilaya, but you already
knew that; anyway, I attend the big church in the heart of town, and I would
like to invite you.”
Sylvia reached
across the table and once again tenderly placed her hand on her arm with a response.
“You are so sweet, love; but I’m
Pagan.”
Dreadfully, Neilaya
turned her eyes down at her lunch tray and disappointingly whispered.
“So, you don’t believe in God.”
The cryptic girl’s
fingers sparked while gently rubbing them across her arm with a smile, as she
quietly countered
“Oh sweetheart, sweetheart; yes, I
believe in God; in fact, I believe in many Gods; and Goddesses; some are good
and some not so good; there is good and evil throughout the universe; the deity
that created all things in the universe I call Father of Creation, he is eternal
and has many names; then there is the Goddess, Mother of Life; I just call them
Mother and Father; but I don’t believe in Satan, that’s a Christian thing; Oh
yeah, and magic; I love magic.”
Neilaya felt
every hair on her body stand on end as she slowly pulled her arm away and
quietly responded.
“Okay, I’ll see you later.”
She quickly
picked up the food tray and headed for the trash bin, feeling a big spot of
emptiness deep down in her gut. She leisurely walked across the lunchroom with
teary eyes, disappointed that the girl she desperately wanted for a friend was
now off limits.
The rest of the
week she tried her best to avoid the weird new girl, but every time they passed
in the hall Sylvia would give a sweet smile and spark her hand across Neilaya’s
arm, which caused warmth to cover her body. It was the end of the day on Friday,
Neilaya was heading for the exit with a swarm of other teens when Sylvia
captured her by the arm, spinning her around and staring deep into her blue
eyes. Neilaya saw a constant miniscule red spot glowing within the center of the
redhead’s hypnotizing blue eyes as Sylvia blurted out a warning.
“Something is going to happen this
weekend that will try and cause you to hate. Hate is not in you; DO NOT LET IT
IN!”
After Sylvia
had said her peace, she turned and started down the hall, causing Neilaya to
yell out behind her.
“What the hell is going to happen?”
Sylvia
kept a fast pace as she shouted back over the crowd.
“I don’t know; but remember, you don’t
hate.”
Neilaya watched
until her desire had faded into the on-slot of teenagers, then realized everyone
around had stopped and looked her way, a bit shocked they had just heard a
curse word slip from the preacher’s daughter’s mouth. She instantly put her
head down in embarrassment and quickly exited out through the door then across
the parking lot. Once she made it to her car, she whispered to herself while
unlocking the door on her Subaru.
“Damned Witches.”
Neilaya had a
restless night with dreams of herself and this beautiful enchantress talking
and constantly laughing together. Every time she would wake, she would force
herself back to sleep in hopes the dream would continue and was not
disappointed. Saturday morning, she was curled up on the couch in her favorite
pajamas watching reruns of Tom and Jerry cartoons, but her mind kept
contemplating about Joey, and how he was spending his eighteenth birthday
alone. She quickly jumped to her feet and headed for her bedroom, glancing
through the kitchen door at her father as she passed by and informing him of
her plan.
“I’m going to go and say happy birthday
to Joey.”
He quickly looked up and shouted a reminded of today’s events that were
already planned.
“Your party starts at four, don’t be
late.”
Without
slowing, Neilaya responded as she headed up the stairs to get dressed.
“Promise dad.”
As she made the
one hour drive out to the farm where Joey lived, Neilaya cheerfully sang along
with the radio, all excited that she was going to spend some birthday time with
her best friend. She felt all giddy as she bounced up the steps and knocked on the
door. When there was no answer she investigated through the window, but no one
seemed to be home. She slipped off the porch and walked around the side of the
house; after all, it was way too long of a drive to simply turn around and
leave. She could see a small tool shed out behind the house and slowly strolled
that way. As she drew closer to the small hut, she could hear Joey’s moans
growing louder and louder coming from within the shack. Terrified he might be injured;
she ran and hurriedly opened the door, then stepped in. She stood frozen in
disbelief at the iniquitous before her eyes. There stood Joey wrapped tight
against Paul’s tall muscled up body and the two were locked in a passionate
kiss. All she could do was scream at her bestie, before turning and heading
back to her car at a fast run.
“HOW COULD YOU, JOEY!!”
Joey quickly
ran after her as fast as his chubby body could run while pulling on his pants.
“Neilaya wait; Please Neilaya, wait!”
Neilaya slammed
the car door hard and with shaking hands, she inserted the key into the slot
and started the engine. Her body began to tremble as she closed her tear-filled
eyes tight and took a deep breath. She tried to calm herself as tears streamed
down her cheeks, and when she opened her eyes there was Joey in front of the
car leaning on the hood; shirtless. Then, Joey began to beg with pleading eyes.
“Please Neilaya, talk to me; please.”
She sat for a
moment staring out the windshield at her best friend, then slowly reached to
shut off the engine as she looked down into her lap. Joey carefully walked over
to the driver window and leaned down, resting his arms on the window frame.
After a long moment of silence, he invited her inside.
“Would you care to come inside?”
She kept her
eyes turned down looking at her lap as she abruptly responded.
“God no, Joey!! You were sinning.”
Now fully
dressed, Paul slowly walked up behind Joey and listened to their conversation
as Joey contradicted her remark.
“I can’t believe being in love with
another person is a sin.”
Neilaya wiped
the tears off her face and continued to calm herself as she sharply replied.
“No; no, you can’t be in love with
another boy, you just can’t; and with Paul; Joey, he is the quarterback of the
football team, he can have any girl he wants.”
Paul decided to
sit this young girl straight, and pushed Joey to one side then leaned in.
“Yes, I can; but I am gay, and I love
Joey.”
He stepped back
and let Joey and Neilaya continue their conversation. Joey slowly laid his head
down onto his arms and made a heart-felt request.
“Please don’t hate me, Neilaya;
please.”
As soon as she
heard him say the word hate, a warmth covered her body, sending her psyche back
to the red sparkle of light in Sylvia’s eyes. Joey quickly stepped back when
she pulled the door handle and opened the car door. She quickly jumped out and
wrapped her arms around him and buried her face into his neck.
“I don’t hate you, Joey. I could never
hate you. You are my best friend.”
He could feel her body slightly trembling as he gave her a gentle
squeeze and responded.
“And I consider you my best friend, and
I love you; now, let’s go inside and talk.”
Releasing her
from his grip, Joey took Paul by the hand and started toward the porch. Neilaya
watched the two strapping boys while following close behind, one being a stud
ballplayer and the other a short chubby farm boy and thought both were very
much handsome. She let out a tiny giggle at the two holding hands.
Standing six-feet-tall
and pure muscle with dark brown hair, and sexy brown eyes to match, Paul
McDowell is the catch of all the boys at school.
Neilaya sat on
the edge of a recliner continuously taking a quick glance up at Paul sitting on
the couch then back down at her feet. Joey quickly returned from the kitchen
with three bottles of ice-cold root-beer and handed one to her and then took a
seat next to his boyfriend and handed him a bottle. They sat for a few minutes
in silence, then Neilaya raised her eyes up to meet Joey’s as she began to
speak.
“Everything has gone topsy-turvy for me
this week. I mean, I met this unique new girl at school that likes me, and I
like her; but she’s not a Christian, and now I find the one person that I care
more for than my own family banging the one boy that every girl in school
covets.”
She finished by
bringing her observation to a hard point.
“And
you seemed to be enjoying it.”
Joey pulled the
tall muscular football players arm up around his shoulder and leaned against
his sturdy body and replied with a chuckle.
“My birthday present.”
Paul took this
opportunity to explain a bit about his religious beliefs to Neilaya, and as he spoke
she equated his words to Sylvia’s.
“Look here Neilaya, I know all about you and
your family’s Christian religion; I acknowledge there is a God; hell, there are
many gods and goddesses; but geez girl, take him out of that little box you
keep him in and set him free.”
He leaned over
and gave Joey a loving peck on the lips, seeing that made Neilaya jitter a bit,
Joey scooted to the edge of the sofa and gently took her hand in his and looked
at her with his famous sad puppy eyes and elucidated their delicate situation.
“Neilaya, you can’t say anything about
this, okay; if anyone found out about Paul and me before graduation it might
hurt his football scholarship; I do love him, Neilaya.”
Her astonish expression
let her bestie know she was disappointed he would even think she would do
anything against him; but, when Neilaya turned her gaze toward Paul her eyes
squinted with concern, and she gave a stern warning.
“I would never do anything to hurt you
Joey; but Paul, if you are just playing with Joey’s feelings; I will hurt you.”
She quickly
looked up at the huge Grandfather clock sitting in the corner of the room when
it chimed three times and quickly jumped to her feet, yelling out her goodbye
as she ran toward the door.
“Shit, shit, shit; my birthday party. I
love you, Joey; we will talk later, Paul.”
Joey gradually
settled back into Paul’s arms with his mouth wide open as she disappeared out
the door. It was the very first time he had ever heard one single cuss word
coming from her mouth. Paul pulled him tightly into his arms and chuckled a
remark concerning Neilaya’s threat.
“Seems her bark is bigger than her
bite.”
Joey turned and
smiled up at him and countered with a convincing tone in his voice.
“No Paul, she is a black belt.”
The
well-built quarterback tenderly placed his large hand against Joey’s cheek and
made one last remark just before softly pressing their moist lips together.
“Oh; shit!”
When Neilaya
arrived home, she didn’t recognize the red convertible corvette parked in the
drive. Knowing there was no way in hell her father could afford such an
extravagant present, she slowly walked around her dream car checking out every
tiny detail that looked identical to the one in the picture hanging above her
bed. She heard a familiar voice calling out her name and quickly turned, an
enormous smile sprang across her face at the sight of a very tall girl with
long straight fire engine red hair walking toward her as she gave a birthday
greeting.
“Happy birthday, girlfriend.”
She slowly
walked up in front of Neilaya and stared into her eyes with that tiny red spark
glistening in hers. Neilaya quickly reached, pulling her into an electrifying
embrace and expressing delight.
“God, I am so glad to see you.”
Immeasurable
sparks scattered about them as Sylvia squeezed her tightly and softly whispered
into her ear.
“Fantastic; I was worried you were
still upset with me.”
Neilaya slowly
leaned her head back and gazed up, giving her best smile.
“No; and that thing you said about hate;
well it happened, and I didn’t let it in.”
When Neilaya
stepped back from the embrace it felt as if she pulled two magnets apart and
considered the tiny white sparkles that filled the air for a split second was
just her imagination. She continue examining her red dream car as Sylvia kept
one hand gently laying on her arm as she spoke, not wanting to break their
connection.
“What happened, love?”
She just
giggled out a response while leaning over the driver’s door to get a better
view of the interior.
“I will tell you later. You know, I
have a poster of this exact same car hanging on the wall in my room.”
She handed the
keys to Neilaya with a suggestion, then headed for the passenger side of the
car
“Really; well then, let’s go for a
spin.”
Neilaya gave
her new bestie a disappointing response as she pointed toward the house.
“Yeah, I wish; my birthday party.”
Sylvia contended
with a slight laugh as she opened the passenger door and slipped into the seat.
“I have already been in there, and
there is no one under forty to be found; they are all arguing about one little passage
in that little black book that supposedly brings all people together.”
Neilaya got a
gigantic smile on her face and scurried around the car. Her heart pounded when
she slid behind the wheel and brought the powerful engine roaring to life. With
butterflies fluttering in her belly she slipped the four-speed shifter into first
gear and eased out into the roadway, then slowly headed down the street. Sylvia’s
intense sudden loud demand caused her to jump.
“Okay; stop, just stop!”
Neilaya stepped
down on the break and quickly brought the sports car to a stop, then gave an
angry glare with a stern inquiry.
“What; what’s wrong?”
Sylvia turned her face toward the sky and huffed out her answer.
“This is a red convertible vet, not a
damn Subaru, so drive it like a red convertible vet.”
Neilaya
slightly giggled while wrapping her fingers tightly around the steering wheel,
then stared out the windshield. Sylvia leaned back in the seat when she stomped
down on the paddle, which caused both girls to begin whooping and hollering
with laughter as the red vet left two long black-streaks in a cloud of gray
smoke.
The last thing
Neilaya wanted was a speeding ticket, which would include a long sermon from
her dad, so she slowed the red rocket down to the posted speed limit. Neilaya
was lost in fiction as she relished driving her fantasy car as the two girls
gracefully cruised through town with the top down and everyone staring as they
passed by. While sitting and staring at the red light, impatiently waiting for
it to turn green, Sylvia glanced down and looked into the side mirror. Noticing
three young men walking down the sidewalk in their direction a short distance
away, she put her focus on their faces. A hot electric shock flashed through
her body when the whites of their eyes turned black as coal, and once again she
yelled out at Neilaya.
“NO, no, no; go Neilaya go!”
Neilaya instantly rebutted her command.
“Sylvia, the lights red.”
Her mind virtually
exploded in her skull when she looked over and saw the pupils in the center of
Sylvia’s sky-blue eyes were now bright flames of red as she rebuked.
“GO DAMNIT; GO!”
Sylvia sparked
her fingers across the button on the dashboard that opened the glovebox as
Neilaya pressed down on the accelerator. With a stringent grip on the steering
wheel, the car leaped through the intersection and down the street as Sylvia
pulled a 9mm Ruger from the glovebox.
“What the hell Sylvia?” She demanded.
Sylvia gave
instructions while turning in the seat and looking back behind them.
“Turn right at the next light and then
just go straight as fast as you can; go, go, go.”
Neilaya let her
martial-arts training kick in so as to settle herself down before speaking in a
calm voice.
“What’s going on?”
The mystical red-head settled back into her seat and calmly replied.
“I will explain everything when we are
safe; promise, just keep driving straight out of town.”
When Neilaya had past the last intersection
going out of town, she pressed further down on the accelerator and watched as
the speedometer quickly jumped to 140 m.p.h. Sylvia stared straight out the
windshield while steadily giving further instructions.
“In three minutes there will be two
gigantic pecan trees on the right, pulled into the drive between the two.”
When she
slipped the gun back into the glovebox and closed the door, the glovebox simply
faded away, leaving one solid dashboard behind, but not before Neilaya caught a
glimpse of a picture with herself and Joey sitting in the Burger shop. Neilaya
slowed the red rocket to a crawl and turned into the drive, where one-hundred
feet off the road, she pulled through a big, opened steel gate with large
statues of gargoyles standing guard on each side. She jumped in her skin when a
quick flash of light flickered in the rearview mirror when the gate latched
closed behind them. After a short distance, a small castle surrounded by large,
full trees came into view, then the drive circled around in the front. Pulling
up to the steps that led up to the front door, she put the car in park, shut
off the engine, then settled back in the seat and covered her face with
trembling hands. Sylvia reached and gently rubbed the back of her head and
whispered assurance.
“We are safe here love.”
Taking a deep
breath, she slowly lowered her hands and looked over at Sylvia with a demand.
“Spill the beans Sylvia; spill all the
fucking beans now.”
Before exiting, she gently placed her soft hand against Neilaya’s
frightened face and softly replied.
“Let’s go inside sweetheart and I will
fill you in on what’s up.”
She opened her
door and stepped from the car as Neilaya slipped from the driver seat, then
cautiously followed her up the steps. Neilaya noticed a small statue of a
horned owl that seemed to protrude out of the wall above the door, and it watched
as they passed by. She slowly strolled through the oversized room and closely
examined all the weapon-like artifacts that covered the walls. It reminded her
of the long entryway into her martial-arts trainer’s house, except these
weapons looked more from the medieval era. Neilaya was quickly scolded when she
reached to touch a three-foot long stick that was about one inch thick with
unusual carvings from one end to the other.
“Don’t touch that!”
She instantly
jerked her hand back and turned, giving Sylvia a strange look for her outburst.
Sylvia pulled a bottle of cold water from a small ice box door that was built
into the wall, then walked over and pointed to a tiny comfortable looking
recliner.
“SIT!”
As Neilaya
crept toward the chair, she noticed it was encircled by a thin white line.
Sylvia handed the bottle of water to her as she slowly sank into the tiny
recliner. Sylvia walked around the chair on the outside of the white line
pointing two of her fingers as if drawing an invisible wall while speaking.
“You are not to get outside this
circle; no matter what, not one little finger.”
Neilaya watched
in mystery as she meticulously made four cryptical hand movements at four
particular points around her, then Sylvia turned and started walking away. The
need to say something, anything, overwhelmed Neilaya, and she nervously giggled
out.
“What if I need to go pee?”
With red sparks
flickering in her blue eyes, Sylvia turned back at her while opening a fancy
carved wooden door across the room, then gave an answer.
“Piss your pants; do not leave that circle.”
She disappeared
through the door and closed it behind her. Neilaya sat in her chair taking tiny
sips from her bottle while taking in the pictures hanging on the walls that
surrounded her. Most were God-like human beings with storm clouds and lightning
surrounding them. A few were beautiful long-haired women that seemed peaceful,
but they all seemed to be looking back at her. She began getting the
heebie-jeebies and grow a bit impatient when Sylvia came back through the door.
With a gentle smile on her face, she slowly walked over and did her precise
hand gestures, again at the same four points around the chair. She handed
Neilaya a small red round smooth rock that fit perfectly into the palm of her
hand.
“Here, hold this.”
Neilaya stared
at the pretty little rock as Sylvia began to push another small recliner over
toward her as she scolded on how to hold the rock.
“Close your hand. I said hold it, not
look at it.”
Once settled
into her seat, she held out her hand and nodded for Neilaya to give back the
stone. Neilaya gently placed the rock into the center of her hand, and she
shoved the stone inside one of her pockets while softly explaining the rock.
“Negative energy.”
“Negative energy.” Neilaya
sarcastically repeated.
“Yeah; you will learn about that later,
for now here is what I was given permission to tell you, and it’s a lot so pay
attention.”
Neilaya quickly
interrupted with a serious tone and raised her eyebrows while giving Sylvia a
truthful look.
“Wait, wait, wait; I really need to
pee.”
Sylvia’s
magical giggle resonated throughout the whole room as she leaned her head back
in the chair and looked up toward the tall ceiling. Regaining her composure,
she stood and gently took Neilaya by the hand and led the way to the restroom.
Neilaya sat and
listened to the sound of her pee against the water at the bottom of the toilet
as she began to notice the wilderness wallpaper with all the large green trees
that surrounded her with many different types and colored flowers. When she
closely examined the wallpaper, she noticed small animals concealed amongst the
colorful vegetation in the decorative wallpaper. She thought to herself while pulling just enough decorated paper from the
roll to complete her task.
“I’ll bet this is biodegradable toilet
paper.”
When Neilaya
exited the bathroom, Sylvia was leaning against the wall patiently waiting, she
took Neilaya by the hand with a bright spark and headed toward the room with
the miniature recliners.
“Come, love, we have much to discuss.”
Again, Neilaya was mesmerized by the silver sparks as she blurted out
her question.
“Why does that happen every time you
touch me?”
Not understanding her question, Sylvia responded while continuing to
lead her down the hall
“What are you talking about love?”
As they stepped
through the fancy carved wooden door Neilaya giggled out her answer.
“Tiny bright sparkles of electricity,
and sometimes I can even feel them.”
Sylvia suddenly
stopped and quickly spun around, freezing in place.
“Wait, wait, wait; are you saying you
can see that?”
Neilaya looked
into her eyes with a big smile on her face.
“Yeah ~ and what’s up with the red
flame-like flickers in your eyes?”
Sylvia quickly
turned and continued to pull her in the direction of the tiny chairs as she
excitedly answered.
“Wait, you can see that also; you have
more power than I thought.”
While Sylvia pushed her back into the tiny chair, Neilaya made
her demand.
“What the hell are you talking about
Sylvia; what power?”
Sylvia took her
seat and gently reached, sparking their hands together and locking eyes.
“Your religion has a saying; sometimes
you don’t get to choose God, God chooses you; Well love, God chose you.”
Neilaya sat and
stared into her eyes, tightening their grip, as she considered what was said,
then replied.
“Sylvia, before I met you I have never
cursed in my life, but now it seems like I’m cursing several times a day; so, I
call bull-shit; why me? I’m nobody.”
Sylvia took a
deep breath and let her calming energy flow into Neilaya’s hands.
“I can’t tell you why you, I have no
idea; but still you are going to change the direction of humanity.”
Neilaya thought
she was being punked, and sarcastically demanded answers.
“Okay, I’ll play along. What am I going
to do and when?”
Sylvia was
doing her best to convince Neilaya this wasn’t a game as she took a deep breath
and exhaled in a huff.
“I don’t know what or when; only the
Gods know that; all we know is you were chosen for the task, and there are some
evil people that intend to make certain that you don’t complete your task.”
Neilaya quickly
pulled her hands away, challenging reality as she rose to her feet.
“You’re full of shit Sylvia, take me
home.”
Sylvia quickly
rose to her feet to meet her stance, gripping onto Neilaya’s shoulders, she
stared straight into her eyes.
“Listen to me love, you told me you
never cursed before, until just recently. Evil has descended on your little town,
and they want you; I was sent to stop it, but I can’t do it alone; I need your
help.”
Neilaya squinted her eyes and quietly asked.
“So, you’re saying that this evil is
causing me to curse?”
Sylvia saw she
was beginning to grasp the situation and shouted excitedly.
“YES!! YES!”
Then Neilaya continued in a whisper.
“So, I need to stop my cursing.”
Sylvia
yelled-out while pulling her into a tight embrace.
‘YES!! YES!! YES!!”
Neilaya felt a
surge of addictive energy run through her body as she squeezed into Sylvia’s
embrace with a response.
“I’m going to believe you for now, but
I need to go home and lay down a few.”
Sylvia pulled
out of their embrace, taking her by the hand and guiding her toward a large
table while making a statement.
“Yeah, okay love; but first we need to
protect your home.”
While following
the mysterious redhead over to the table, Neilaya tried to comprehend why it
felt like pulling two magnets apart every time the two separated from their hugs.
Sylvia retrieved a small can, similar to a coffee can, then spoke while handing
items to Neilaya.
“As I hand you things, put them inside
this can.”
First, sewing
needles, then a few small sharp like toothpicks, then a few razor blades, and
finally a handful of four-inch-long thin strings. Sylvia pulled out a bottle of
red wine and poured two tiny shot glasses full and handed one to a suspicious
Neilaya. She carefully took the glass from Sylvia as she whispered.
“I don’t drink.”
Sylvia quietly confessed before loudly performing a quick ceremony.
“Yeah, me neither; THIS IS THE BLOOD OF
THE CREATOR, THE BLOOD OF LIFE.”
She raised her
glass into the air and waited for Neilaya’s participation, then they downed the
wine. She poured the rest of the bottle into the small can and put a tin top on
it and sealed it with a tiny rubber hammer, then went to a small closet and
retrieved a little shovel.
“Okay, we can go now.”
Neilaya
followed her out the door toward the car, pondering what the small can of items
was for. When they reached the car, Neilaya’s curiosity overwhelmed her, and
she questioned the item.
“Okay, what’s up with the can?”
Sylvia placed it,
and the shovel, into the back floorboard then slid into the driver seat while explaining.
“We are going to bury it in your yard
to keep away bad energy.”
Neilaya slid
into the passenger seat and concurred with a smile.
“I can deal with that.”
As Sylvia drove
down the road, Neilaya leaned forward and began to run her hand across the
front side of the dashboard. Her hand froze in place when she felt the button
that opened the glovebox, then slightly tilted her head while giving a strange
look, which caused Sylvia to giggle out an explanation.
“Yes, it’s there; it just has a spell
around it that hides it from everyone.”
She sparked her
hand across the dash, bringing the glovebox into view. Neilaya stared at the
dash and responded in amassment.
“WOW! Can all witches do that?”
She turned her
attention to opening the door, then pulled the picture of herself and Joey from
the box as Sylvia explained.
“I’m not a witch, I’m a Priestess; I
was given special powers for this mission.”
Neilaya stared
at the picture while gently rubbing her fingers across it, then softly
whispered.
“So, you were sent to protect me.”
Sylvia quickly corrected
her assumption.
“Actually, I was sent to teach you.”
Sylvia turned down
the street where Neilaya lives as Neilaya slipped the picture back into the
glovebox with a question.
“Teach me what?”
Sylvia pulled
the red bullet to a stop in front of the house, then gave her a loving smile as
she elaborated.
“Magic; how to use your powers; now let’s
bury your protection in the flower bed at the corner of your house.”
Neilaya’s confused mind
was now spinning as she made her appeal before slipping out the passenger door.
“Well, let’s make this quick, I need to
lie down; my head is spinning.”
Sylvia stepped from the car with the can
and small shovel in hand while giggling out her reply.
“I understand love, we’ll make it
quick.”

CHAPTER TWO
BLACK &
WHITE MAGIC
Neilaya slowly
started up the stairs to her room with her stomach feeling a little bit queasy.
Her dad spoke out to her when she walked past the kitchen door.
“Where have you been?”
She
continued her slow climb up the stairs toward her room while responding.
“With my new friend Sylvia; I’m not
feeling good dad, we’ll talk later.”
Jim is a tiny
bit protective of his baby girl, with her mother passing away two years ago he
worried for his little princess. Understanding that Neilaya always looked
forward to his loving gesture he shouted out behind her, letting her know he
would come up to say goodnight.
“Okay sweetheart, I’ll be up shortly to
tuck you in.”
Neilaya’s dad,
Jim Monty, is a large handsome man. He stands about six feet three inches tall,
two hundred twenty lb. with dark brown eyes and short brown hair and being the
leader of the church he was always dressed properly.
Neilaya changed
into her favorite jammies then quickly climbed into bed, pulling her large
stuffed white unicorn tight into her bosom as she curled up under the covers
then waited for dad to come to tuck her in. As she laid in her bed with her
eyes closed a picture appeared in her psyche, it was Sylvia standing next to a
beautiful woman in a long flowing gown that matched her long flowing white
hair. Suddenly the angelic looking woman began speaking in a sweet gentle
voice.
“You cannot fail Neilaya; all of
humanity depends on it.”
She was
slightly startled when her dad leaned down and kissed her cheek, then lovingly
tucked her in.
She woke to the
music blaring out from her alarm-radio and immediately reached and shut it off
with her usual moaning of disappointment, then stumbled toward the bathroom to
take her morning shower. She always used up all the hot water, knowing her dad
was awake hours before she was. She put on her Sunday dress and a thin layer of
makeup, so as not to interfere with her natural beauty, then headed down the
stairs where dad was patiently waiting. She kept quiet on the ride to the
church, letting her mind contemplate on the many dreams she had last night.
Neilaya slid from the car and slowly started for the steps that led into the
big church. She quickly spun around in her place when she heard a sweet voice
she desperately needed to hear. A smile sprang across her face as she watched
Sylvia, with her long glowing red hair, quickly approaching with a big smile and
speaking in her sweet, magical voice.
“Hi, girlfriend.”
Neilaya giggled
as she thoroughly examined Sylvia’s long flowery spring dress while moving
toward her new bestie at a brisk pace, anticipating the sensation of an
electrifying embrace, and was not disappointed. When she withdrew from the
magnifying hug her ears caught another familiar voice shouting out a greeting.
“Hey, Neilaya.”
She was
pleasantly surprised when she turned to see Paul standing beside Joey, this was
the first time Paul had attended church. She quickly pulled Joey into a bear
hug and gave Paul a big smile while pulling him into the embrace, then she
introduced them to Sylvia. Remembering Sylvia’s wallpaper, Neilaya could not
stop herself from giggling out a question.
“Are there any varmints hiding out in
your dress?”
Sylvia turned
to the side, pointing out the tiny mouse hiding amongst the flowers on her
dress. Neilaya broke into a loud deep laugh as the four headed for the church
door. Jim turned to look at his princes, that was the first time in a very long
time he had heard her truly laugh.
The preacher
today was a visitor, and he began teaching things that were opposed to what
Neilaya had been taught previously. She squinted her eyes while listening to
him tell the congregation that the preacher was the only authority of the
church, and everyone must do what the preacher says. She had been taught that
Jesus was the one authority over the church and the preacher was nothing more
than just another brother, like everyone else. Neilaya’s forehead was wrinkled
as her mind disagreed with the words the visiting preacher was spewing, then he
gave an evil grin as his eyes fell on her. She felt a boiling sensation
immediately cover her entire body when the whites in his eyes turned to coal
black for a split second, and she quickly grabbed Sylvia and Joey by the hand
as she whispered with a firm tone.
“Let’s get out of here.”
The tetrad quietly
and quickly exited the church and headed across the parking lot. When Joey
reached his truck, he turned and shouted to Neilaya.
“Let’s meet at my house.”
While opening the door on her corvette, Sylvia promptly responded.
“Lead the way.”
She and Neilaya
slipped into the red rocket and followed the old farm truck out of the parking
lot. Neilaya was trembling as Sylvia gently reached and took her hand with a
spark, then acknowledged what she had seen.
“I saw it to, love.”
Neilaya giggled
at the spark, letting their fingers lace together as she replied.
“Gees, I don’t think I’ll ever get used
to the spark; why did his eyes turn black?”
Sylvia slightly tilted her
head while contemplating on the situation.
“When you learn to control your energy,
you can stop the sparks; he uses black magic, he has an evil spirit for a guide;
no, wait; maybe he is the evil spirit.”
Neilaya
squeezed her hand a bit tighter as she softly replied.
“No, no; I don’t want it to stop, I
just want to get used to it; so, I just met black magic.”
Sylvia responded with a directive.
“Yes love; open the glovebox.”
Once again, Neilaya
giggled at the sparks when she released her hand, then began feeling around at
the solid looking dashboard. Sylvia giggled out another directive as she
watched her fumbling around.
“Focus girlfriend, see it in your
mind.”
Neilaya froze
in place as she tried to imagine she could see the glovebox, and it began to
slowly fade into view. She began speaking excitingly, but stopped herself short
of cussing.
“That was so fu….; that was so cool.”
Again, another mandate from Sylvia.
“There is a tiny box, take it out.”
Neilaya
retrieved a small white box with a purple string holding it closed.
“What’s this?”
Sylvia gave a
glance from the corner of her eye and smiled with her answer.
“It’s a necklace, put it on.”
Neilaya opened
the box to find a thin gold necklace attached to a five-point star of silver. A
tiny white streak of electricity sparked into her fingers as she reached for
the necklace. She glanced over at the redheaded beauty with a giggle.
“Soooo; does this mean we are engaged?”
Sylvia kept her
voice calm and soft as she answered, so not give away that she had in-fact
fallen for the one she was sent to protect.
“It will protect you from black magic,
and I’m gain if you are.”
Neilaya looked
over at her with a sly smile on her face while slipping the gold chain around
her neck.
“I’m joking; I’m joking.”
She noticed a
tiny sparkles of silver flicker in the center of Sylvia’s eyes while fastening
the clasp on the necklace. She lifted the five-point star up and examined it as
she jokingly explained the dating process.
“But we haven’t even kissed yet.”
Sylvia calmly
whispered her response.
“That can be easily remedied.”
Neilaya got a
serious look on her face as she kept her eyes looking straight down the road.
“Well, I have always been taught
anything is possible.”
She sparked her
hand back into Sylvia’s, intertwining their fingers once again. Sylvia rolled
her eyes at how Joey was taking his sweet time as she slowly followed the old
farm truck up a long driveway to a quaint three-bedroom house. After finally
reached the house, she and Neilaya sat watching the two boys stroll toward them
holding hands. Sylvia gave Neilaya’s hand a gentle squeeze as she commented.
“Awe; they make a cute couple.”
Neilaya hesitated a moment before replying.
“Yeah, I was raised to believe it’s a
sin; but I love Joey, he’s like a brother to me”
Sylvia continued watching
the two young men as she responded.
“It’s not wrong Neilaya; when it comes
to one person loving another, the Creator does not judge; in fact, the Mother
Goddess is happy when people love one-another.”
Her words
confused Neilaya as she watched the two handsome boys walking their way.
“When you say people, you mean more
than two.”
Sylvia turned
her attention toward her and softly squeezed her hand.
“As long as everyone involved agrees.”
Neilaya sat
staring into Sylvia’s eyes for a long moment before making her statement.
“I think that I’m going to like this
Pagan religion; by the way, I’m a virgin.”
Sylvia quickly giggled out her logic.
“Of course you are love, you just
turned eighteen.”
Neilaya instantly responded with a question.
“You are only eighteen; are you a
virgin?”
Neilaya saw a
tiny silver sparkle dancing in Sylvia’s eyes as she leaned over and pulled her
ear close and whispered a confession.
“This is going to be our little secret,
I’m twenty-two and no, I’m not a virgin.”
Neilaya got
goosebumps when the tingling sparks leapt between her ear and Sylvia’s lips.
She closed her eyes and gently placed her hand around Sylvia’s neck and pulled
her warmth, causing Joey shout out.
“Hey, what’s this?”
He was
astonished to see Neilaya cuddling into another girl, but her answer left him
even more baffled. She held up the gold five-point star pendant that was
attached to the end of her necklace as she replied.
“It’s okay Joey, we’re engaged.”
Paul was
dumbfounded as he stared at the necklace and quickly made an inquiry.
“That’s Pagan; are you Pagan?”
Paul’s words
brought Sylvia back to reality and she quickly pulled away from Neilaya’s
hypnotizing aroma and turned to face him.
“What do you know about Paganism?”
Paul just gave
her a big smile and retrieved his own necklace from beneath his shirt. Suddenly
the thought of what he had seen at school flashed through his mind.
“O.M.G; you are here because of the
evil ones.”
He reached and
opened Sylvia’s door and offered her his hand. Sylvia accepted and lifted
herself from the car while making her own inquiry.
“How long?”
That confirmed Paul’s suspicion, and he quickly answered.
“Two months, why are they here?”
“Neilaya.” She answered
point-blank.
Paul and Joey
instantly looked over at Neilaya.
“WHY!!” Paul demanded.
Neilaya closed
her car door and held her head up as she spoke with pride.
“I’m going to change humanity someday.”
Joey slowly
walked up beside his bestie with his assumption.
“Gees Neilaya, I never ever thought
that you would be involved.”
Realizing he
must have been in the know, she hit his shoulder hard while demanding an
answer.
“Wait, you knew about Paganism?”
Joey postured
himself while rubbing his arm from Neilaya’s martial-arts punch.
“Yes Neilaya, Paul and I have been
dating for like three years.”
“You could have told me Joey.” She demanded.
“No, no I couldn’t.” He argued.
Neilaya
reached and quickly pulled him into a forceful embrace while softly conceding.
“Yeah, I know.”
Sylvia broke their tender moment with a suggestion.
“So; shall we go inside?”
Joey thought
for a short moment, then gripped Paul by the hand and started toward the barn
with a reply.
“Naw– let’s go to the clubhouse.”
Neilaya quietly
giggled to herself as she took Sylvia’s hand and followed behind the two boys,
who were also holding hands. Joey led them through the side door of the barn
and up a staircase in the back. When they entered through the door at the top
of the steps Sylvia and Neilaya were astounded at the small one-bedroom
apartment that Joey had transformed the upper part of the barn into. Joey took
a few steps over to the kitchen part of the room and retrieved four drinks from
the refrigerator as he invited in his guest.
“Everybody grab a squat; I’ll get some root-beers.”
Sylvia and Neilaya sank into a small loveseat
and Paul took a seat in a larger loveseat across from the coffee table. As Joey
passed out the cold drinks Neilaya began to interrogate Paul.
“Paul, when you go off to college to
play ball, what happens to Joey?”
He instantly tried to set her mind at ease as he answered with a smile.
“He’s coming with.”
Sylvia pulled
her glowing red hair back over her shoulder with her free hand and explained
her plan concerning college.
“All of us will be attending the same
college.”
Neilaya leaned
her head to one side and gave a curious look.
“How can you be sure?”
Sylvia gave her
hand a gentle squeeze and a loving smile.
“Money talks love, I can arrange it.”
Neilaya’s voice seemed to squeak a bit while making an inquiry.
“Wait, you are rich.”
Sylvia pulled
her over toward herself and bumped their shoulders together.
“Girlfriend, I was born shrouded in
gold.”
Sylvia brought
everyone back to reality when she turned her question back at Paul.
“Paul, do you know how many Demons we
are dealing with?”
“I have seen three players on the team
with black eyes.” He answered.
“So how strong is your magic?” She asked.
Paul set up a
little taller and pulled Joey closer, then proudly answered.
“Until two months ago, zero; and then
boom, I can now do things I never thought were even possible.”
Sylvia’s red
hair seemed to glow a bit brighter for a moment as she stared at him with an
explanation.
“You have been chosen by the Gods to
help with this mission.”
He sat silent
for a minute with a serious look, staring back at the beautiful redhead before
speaking.
“So how long will this mission last?”
Not sure of his
conviction, she answered with a calm and steady tone in her voice.
“Well, probably somewhere between one
to one-hundred-years.”
Paul released
Joey and held his arms up high into the air, looking up toward the ceiling with
a shout.
“YES!! YES!!
YES!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!”
Neilaya jumped
in her skin at Paul’s sudden outburst and Sylvia let her calming energy
transfer into her trembling hand as she analyzed the situation.
“Okay, we know of three students and
this visiting preacher. Monday at school, point out these three boys to me;
after school, we will go to my house and bind our powers together so we can
pull on each other's magic, then I will start teaching Neilaya how to channel
her magic; we must not fail guy’s.”
Paul sharply replied
with a big grin.
“Don’t worry, we will kick some demon
ass.”
Sylvia felt the
nervousness inside Neilaya and quickly stood up, slowly pulling Neilaya up with
her.
“I’m going to take my new girlfriend
home.”
Joey and Paul
walked the two girls out across the barnyard to the red rocket and Paul began
to speak as he opened Sylvia’s door.
“You know that the Ostara celebration
is just around the corner.”
She smiled up
at Paul as she slid into her seat.
“Yes, I know, and now that I know there
are others I’m looking forward to it.”
Paul looked
down at her and winked with a big smile across his face as he closed her door with
comments concerning another Wiccan celebration.
“I’m looking forward to Beltane.”
Sylvia giggled
at his words as she started the engine, then tried to calm his enthusiasm.
“Easy boy, have you taken Joey to a
Beltane?”
“Well, with just Joey and me it’s not a
real Beltane celebration.” Paul admitted.
Without trying to douse his enthusiasm, she explained the situation.
“Well Paul, I’m not sure Neilaya is
serious about this whole girlfriend thingy, or even the Pagan religion; so,
don’t get your hopes too high.”
She pulled the
shifter into drive and gradually started down the driveway as Neilaya presented
her with a query.
“Okay girlfriend, what is a Beltane
celebration?”
Sylvia stared
out the windshield as her ears turned as red as her hair, and a sly grin
crossed her face while sidetracking the subject.
“That is in May, there is plenty of
time and other things to learn first.”
Neilaya
probed more as she leisurely sparked her fingers around Sylvia’s.
“Oookaay, Ostara, what’s up with that?”
“It’s a celebration similar to Easter.”
Sylvia explained.
Neilaya was confounded, and quickly asked for clarification.
“Wait, you celebrate the rise of
Jesus?”
“No Neilaya, Pagan’s have been
celebrating Ostara for thousands of years before Jesus; it’s a celebration
about the rebirth of creation. I personally believe that Jesus was a messenger
from the Gods, but no, we do not celebrate his birth or rebirth.” Sylvia
explained.
Neilaya spent
the rest of the ride home in silence, considering Sylvia’s words. Pulled to a
stop in front of Neilaya’s house, Sylvia went to separate their fingers, but
Neilaya tightened her grip and pulled Sylvia in her direction and gave her a
small kiss on the lips which caused a bright white spark that continued to glow
until their lips separated. She watched the silver sparkles dancing in Sylvia’s
eyes as she pulled away and whispered.
“Girlfriends?”
Sylvia noticed
tiny silver sparkles in Neilaya’s eyes as she confirmed their relationship.
“Girlfriend, I vow I will always love you.”
Neilaya softly responded as she opened the door.
“I will always love you; see you
tomorrow.”
She had
butterflies fluttering in her stomach while exiting the car and closing the
door.
“I’ll pick you up for school.” Sylvia quickly replied.
Neilaya loudly concurred as she headed toward the house.
“I’ll be waiting.”
She began to
hum a happy tune as she slowly walked up the sidewalk, but when she entered
through the door her ears began to ring loudly and a flood of fear filled her
body. Her dad was standing in the center of the living-room, with the evil
demon looking visiting preacher standing beside him. His arms were folded
across his chest with a hard-cold stare. He began speaking in a harsh tone Neilaya
had never heard coming from her father before.
“Where were you?”
Her butterflies
quickly turned to trembles as she gave her him a confused look with her answer.
“With my new friend Sylvia; we went
over to Joey’s.”
Jim instantly retaliated.
“Give me the damned key to the car, you
are grounded!”
While gently laying
the keys into the hand her father was holding out she quietly questioned his
demeanor.
“DAD!! What the he… what’s going on?”
At that point the
visitor began to wave his arms around in the air and speak loudly.
“That girl is a Satanist; she worships
the devil.”
Neilaya turned
and quickly headed for the stairs with a loud rebuttal.
“NO! No, I know that’s not true; she
doesn’t even believe in Satan.”
Jim instantly yelled out
behind her.
“You are not allowed to speak with that
evil witch ever again, you hear me.”
She stopped at
the bottom of the stairs and turned back at her father and the visitor with
water-filled eyes as she countered.
“NO! No dad, you will not tell me
that.”
Jim puffed out
his chest while the visitor stood with a smile on his face.
“Listen to me you spoilt little bitch,
as long as you are under my roof you will do as you are told, or I will beat
your ass.”
Her father had
never talked to her in this manner before, and she abruptly turned and took two
steps at a time up the stairs with tears streaming down her cheeks. She
retrieved her cell phone from her pocket as she sat down on her bed, trying her
best to calm her shaking hands as she dialed Sylvia’s number. When the phone
started to ring she quickly rubbed the tears from her face.
“Hey love,” Sylvia
answered.
She tried to
keep the tears wiped from her face while hurriedly speaking over Sylvia.
“He’s here Sylvia, he’s here in my
house; you told me that my house was protected!”
Sylvia quickly tried to calm her new girlfriend.
“Settle down babe, he can’t use magic
when he is in your house.”
Neilaya shouted
as the tears began to flow once again.
“SHIT! He used magic on my dad, my god
Sylvia, my dad.”
Sylvia rapidly
became alarmed when Neilaya’s crying became hysterical as she continued.
“He took my car keys away, and he
cursed at me; he called me a spoiled little bitch; my god Sylvia, he threatened
to hit me; he has never raised one finger against me; I don’t know what to do.”
When Neilaya’s
words tuned to babbles, Sylvia quickly did a one-eighty and pressed down on the
accelerator while continuing to attempt to calm her down.
“Okay love, listen to me; I want you to
go down the stairs as fast as you can and out the door, I’ll be waiting out
front; do not stop for anything, do you understand me, anything.”
Neilaya did not
even take the time to push the button to end the call as she ran down the
stairs as quickly as she could through blurred vision from water-filled eyes.
Jim and the stranger were sitting in the kitchen when she dashed by and Jim
immediately jumped to his feet and went to catch his princess as she exited out
the door.
“Come back here you damned slut, get
back here now or get the hell out.”
He stopped and
stood at the bottom of the front porch steps with the stranger standing behind
him, smiling over his shoulder as Jim watched his baby girl jump into the red
vet and speed away.
Sylvia could
feel the pain she was feeling and gently rubbed the back of her long blonde
hair as Neilaya put her hands over her face and began to bawl. Sylvia softly
gave her a suggestion.
“Okay love, I need you to remember your
martial-arts training and calm yourself.”
She took
several long deep breaths, then slowly lowered her hands to reveal bloodshot
eyes. She stared straight out the windshield while reaching up and carefully
pulling Sylvia’s hand down to the console, then sparked their fingers together
with white sparks that even made Sylvia jump a bit. She could feel the anger
building within herself as she spoke with a firm voice.
“We need to use our magic on that
strange evil man.”
Sylvia gave her
hand a tight squeeze as a chill ran down her spine.
“NO!! No Neilaya, that’s not how it
works.”
Neilaya turned
and stared at her through bloodshot eyes with a challenge.
“Why? What good is magic if you can’t
use it?”
Sylvia slowed
the red rocket and pulled in between the two gargoyles guarding the entrance, then
began to explain how Magic works while slowly driving up to the house.
“Sweetheart, if you use your energy to
cause anyone harm, that’s called black magic; let me explain a bit; magic is
very much like the power of suggestion, this stranger has your dad convinced of
something that’s not true; that is black magic; you must never use your energy
in that way; we will use our energy to make your dad understand he is being
fooled by this man, that’s white magic.”
Neilaya
had decided to entrust her life to the only girl she has ever felt this type of
love for, and agreed with one stipulation.
“Well, we have to do something quick;
that’s not my dad back there.”
Sylvia
used her left hand to push the shifter up into park, keeping their fingers
passionately entangled, then she pulled Neilaya into a caring, magnetizing
embrace as she gave her assurance.
“We will begin training immediately.”
The two
beauties sat drinking black tea as Sylvia explained the invisible circle and
the four hand gestures she used before, and the energy you can draw from earth
– wind – fire – water. She handed Neilaya the small red stone and explained how
to meditate and transfer her negative energy into the stone. Neilaya wrapping
the red stone tight into the palm of her hand and whispered.
“I definitely need this right now.”
Sylvia walked
over to her work desk and pulled out two thin paperback books from the drawer
then returned to her seat. She laid the books down onto the coffee table while
giving instructions.
“I need you to read these, babe.”
Neilaya giggled
as she looked at the tiny stone in her hand.
“Okay, what do I do with the stone? I
mean, it’s like overflowing with negative energy.”
Sylvia stood
and reached out, taking her by the hand.
“We will go out in the back and lay the
stone on the ground; Mother Earth will take in the negative energy and turn it
into positive energy, which you can use later.”
Neilaya zapped
her hand into Sylvia’s and followed her through several large old-style
colonial looking rooms with fancy matching furnishings, then out the back door
for her first session on how to pull energy into herself from the ether of the
universe. She was amazed as they slowly strolled down a yellow brick sidewalk
that intertwined through a giant lush flower garden, which covered at least ten
acres. Sylvia led her through the enchanted garden until they reached a big
circular spot of soft green grass in the center. Sylvia delicately separated
their connection and began to slowly undress with Neilaya’s unbelieving eyes
staring straight at her. Neilaya turned her head away as she spoke.
“WHAT – are you doing?”
Sylvia slipped
off her tiny panties and stood entirely nude while explaining.
“Oh, I’m sorry love; it’s just that I
like the way energy feels without clothes on. It’s not required; you can keep
yours on.”
Neilaya looked
back and beheld the glorified redheaded beauty with a big grin, then she
noticed that her well-trimmed bush was just as fire-engine red as the hair on
top of her head, and her large breasts could not be more flawless. She prayed
Sylvia would find her just as alluring as she slowly removed her attire as she enlightened
Sylvia with a giggle.
“You are the only person on this Earth
that has ever seen me in the buff.”
Sylvia took
notice of every inch of Neilaya’s perfectly shaped body, then zapped their
hands together.
“Okay love, like I told you before it’s
just like the power of suggestion, simply focus your mind and see the energy
flowing from the ground up into your body, then feel the energy.”
After the
circle was drawn and the four powers were called upon, Neilaya and Sylvia sat
holding hands with their eyes closed and their bare butts feeling electrifying
energy coming up from the cool ground, filling their bodies. After about five
minutes Sylvia began to speak.
“Now sweetheart, in your mind, picture
your dad with you, and the two of you happily talking together.”
“So, this is how magic works?” Neilaya quietly
asked.
“Yes love, this isn’t T. V.” Sylvia softly
giggled.
“Yeah. ~ It’s completely different than
what I have been taught.” Neilaya agreed.
“Yes, and we do not discuss ceremonies
to others outside of our coven.” Sylvia explained.
Neilaya seemed
to since Sylvia’s stare and slowly opened her eyes and gave a loving smile
back. They both looked deep into each other’s eyes and noticed the blue around
the other’s pupils were filled with shiny silver sparkles, then Neilaya
whispered.
“I love you so much.”
Before Sylvia
could respond, she pulled her into an erotic loving kiss, and when their lips
sparked together the circle around them began to glow an intense silver.
Two hours later
Neilaya was sitting in the tiny recliner with her wet hair wrapped into a towel
reading the books about her newfound religion as Sylvia prepared dinner in the
kitchen. She found a small pamphlet tucked inside one of the books and began to
read it, three-quarters of the way through she shrieked out.
“OH – MY – GOD!”
Hearing the
loud outburst, Sylvia darted out from the kitchen. When she saw Neilaya’s big
blue eyes extensively staring into the small pamphlet that told about the
sexual activities connected to the Beltane celebration she stopped and gave a
smile. Neilaya looked up with eyes open wide and yakked loudly.
“ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!”
Sylvia turned
and headed back into the kitchen with a loud giggle of assurance.
“You’re going to love it babe;
promise.”

CHAPTER THREE
BATTLE OF THE
GODS
As it grew late
into the night the two beauties were watching a boring movie when Neilaya began
drifting in and out of sleep. Sylvia gently pulled her up from her seat with a
suggestion.
“Come on love, let’s go to bed.”
Neilaya
sleepily followed up the stairs and down the balcony corridor. Sylvia slowly
opened the solid wood door with fancy carvings and guided her into the large
bedroom. Neilaya solidified in place as she looked around the fairytale-like
bedroom, then slowly walked over to the foot of the bed.
“Amazing” She whispered.
She gently ran
the tips of her fingers across the red silk see-through curtains that
surrounded the large bed as Sylvia laid a skimpy nightie down on the chest at
the foot of the bed and spoke with a devious smile.
“You can wear this if you like; as for
me, I like to sleep naked.”
Neilaya slowly
walked over to the giant dresser that had a mirror covering half the wall as
Sylvia undressed. She noticed many items lying on top of the dresser she did
not recognize as she began to meticulously remove her clothes, making an
inquiry while examining the strange objects.
“And what are these for?”
Sylvia slowly
walked over beside her with a slight giggle and picked up a pleasing seven-inch
rubber penis that resembled the real thing.
“Toys, you don’t have any toys at
home.”
Neilaya’s eyes grew big as she shook her head and laughed out her
answer.
“God no; my dad would have a heart
attack if he found something like this in my room.”
She squeezed
the tip of the rubber toy between her fingers that Sylvia was holding to see
what it felt like as Sylvia reached for a small plastic bottle of lotion while
commenting.
“Well, I know you haven’t gone all of
your eighteen years without doing at least something.”
Neilaya held up
three of her small fingers and wiggled them in the air with her declaration.
“The only thing that’s been down there
are these, and what we did earlier in the garden.”
Sylvia quickly
zapped her hand into hers and moved toward the bed as the entire room began to
glow bright silver.
“Well then, I think it’s time that you
have a genuine full-blown orgasm.”
As the morning
sun began streaming in through the window Neilaya gradually arranged herself
over and covered her head with her usual moan of disappointment. She rubbed her
hand across the silk purple sheets and slowly opened her eyes as the lingering
aroma of sweet feminine ecstasy flooded her nostrils. She lowered the covers
down from over her face and looked around the fairytale room as her mind
remembered where she was, and the fact that she was no longer a virgin. As the
smell of bacon seeped into the room she pulled the bathrobe on she found
waiting at the foot of the bed. When she entered the kitchen and took a seat at
the table, she noticed Sylvia had a slight white glow surrounding her body as
she greeted her.
“Good morning love, breakfast is almost
ready.”
When she sat a
platter of crispy bacon down beside the tray of pancakes in front of her,
Neilaya looked up intently at her beautiful smiling face and apprised Sylvia of
her luminosity.
“Sylvia, you are glowing; no; I mean
you are actually glowing.”
She gently
sparked her hand against Neilaya’s cheek, and with a romantic whisper, informed
her of the same.
“So are you my love, so are you.”
She instantly
jumped up from the kitchen table and quickly headed for the mirror in the
living room as she shouted.
“WHAT, REALLY;
I’M REALLY GLOWING, SERIOUSLY.”
One look in the mirror caused
her to yell even louder.
“MY HAIR; MY GOD; MY HAIR!!”
She turned and
quickly darted up the stairs two steps at a time as Sylvia giggled while taking
her seat at the table to wait for her beautiful new mate to return. twenty
minutes later she slipped back into the kitchen with a big smile and long blond
hair that was fixed just right. Wearing one of Sylvia’s erotic low cut black
dresses, Neilaya took her seat and retrieved a piece of cold bacon from the
platter.
“Can anyone else see our Arora?”
“No; well maybe Paul, that is if he has
been given enough power.” Sylvia answered.
Neilaya
returned her loving smile as silver sparkles danced around in both of their
eyes. Neilaya was a bit confused about the ability she now seemed to have,
knowing precisely how Sylvia was feeling about her, which caused a quavering
within her stomach.
“This bacon is the best I’ve ever had;
what kind is it?”
“Vegan; we’re going to be late.” Sylvia
answered.
“So, you’re vegan; I’m eighteen now, I
can write my own excuses.” Neilaya giggled.
She quickly
swallowed down the bacon then pulled Sylvia into a magical loving kiss, causing
giant sparks to fill the room around them. Sylvia quietly whispered into her
ear to inform her of the time.
“We really need to go love.”
Neilaya pulled
out of the magnetized hug and grabbed a handful of crispy veggie bacon strips
as she giggled her reply.
“Yeah ~ yeah~ yeah; let’s go.”
Their
intertwined fingers glowed like polished silver as they sang happy songs along
with the radio all the way to school, and when the two beauties stepped from
the red rocket, everyone turned to stare. They were all in disbelief at the
sight of the preacher’s daughter wearing a tight fitting light blue low-cut
erotic dress that displayed her amazing cleavage, and the way she held tight
onto the tall, mysterious redhead as the two strutted across the school’s
parking-lot like they owned the entire world. Quite a few commenced whispering
among themselves as they watched the school's quarterback take these two
beauties into a loving three-way embrace, then walk the girls into the
building. The three were confident that they would be the talk of the town for
the rest of the year.
Three of Paul’s
sport teammates were gathered at the end of the long hallway and cast angry
eyes upon the trio as he gave a raised nod in their direction.
“Those are the three guys’, down there
at the end of the hall.”
“Okay, you two go to class.” Sylvia ordered.
She lovingly
sparked her lips across Neilaya’s, which caused everyone to turn and gawk and a
few to gasp, then she slowly walked down the hall until she was face-to-face
with the three boys. She placed her hand on the arm of the one she concluded
was the leader and gave him a powerful spark of energy. The tall muscular boy
quickly jerked his arm away with a look of surprise. Sylvia stood her full six-feet,
so to match his height as she made her demand.
“Who’s your Matron; tell me who are you
following?”
“I follow no one bitch.” The boy barked back.
Sylvia stepped
up and placed her nose almost against his and allowed the red in her eyes to
shine bright, then with her sweetest voice gave a warning, ending in a firm
sturdy echoing spooky voice.
“Haven’t you been taught that it’s not
a good idea to call a Priestess bad names. The fairies will not let you have a
conversation with anyone until you come and speak with me; “LITTLE BOY.”
She turned and
slowly walked away, swaying her sexy butt side to side as the boys stared and
whispered among themselves.
Neilaya teemed
with relief when she saw Sylvia walk into homeroom and take her seat. They
reached across the space between their desks and sparked their fingers together
as Sylvia gave her assurance.
“Everything is fine, love.”
For the rest of
the day when they were between classes Sylvia would giggle at the tall ball
player attempting to have a conversation with anyone, they would start to
continuously swat at the air as if trying to shew away annoying flies, then
turn and walk away from him in mid-sentence.
At the end of
the school day, Neilaya and Sylvia casually wandered through the crowded
parking-lot hand and hand. When they approached the red rocket, Sylvia noticed
the tall boy standing beside her car. When he noticed the tall girl with the
red glowing hair, he yelled out.
“What the hell did you do to me?”
Sylvia
responded with a sweet voice.
“I have done nothing to you; I haven’t
used magic, nor cast any spells your way; your tribulations are of your own
making. Now, who do you follow?”
The boy turned
his eyes toward the ground and began to fidget nervously.
“If I tell you will you make whatever
this is stop? I mean; no one will talk to me.”
Sylvia agreed
while standing and staring at the ball player with no sign of pity.
“I will speak to the Gods concerning
your situation.”
He cautiously
looked around to make sure he wasn’t being heard, then spoke with a low voice.
“Okay ~ okay ~ he is called Yashuda.”
Thinking he was
lying, Sylvia’s eyes glowed red.
“YOU LIE! There is no such deity.”
The boy’s body
began to tremble as his eyes filled with water as he pleaded.
“No, no; I swear; that’s what I was
told; please, please; I can’t live like this, I need people to talk to me.”
Neilaya tightly
squeezed Sylvia’s hand and pulled her around, and Sylvia could since the
anxiety coming from her.
“Let’s go, come on let’s go.”
The two
beauties slipped into the red rocket and the engine screamed to life. The boy
chased the car across the parking lot begging loudly.
“Wait, wait; what about me? My name is
Roger; Roger Smith; Please speak with your Gods please.”
Sylvia’s tone said she was really aggravated.
“Two minutes, just two more minutes and
I could have broken him.”
She stared
straight out the windshield as Neilaya zapped their fingers together and gave
her opinion.
“Sweetheart, he is telling you the
truth; that is, what he believes is the truth.”
Sylvia kept
silent for a moment to calm herself, and let her body relax before responding.
“I have never heard of such an entity;
how do you know love?”
Neilaya slowly explained what she was thinking.
“He is saying three partial names, one
is the name Yahweh, the second is Yeshua, and the third one is Buda. The first
two are Christian, and the third I think is from India. This entity is
combining the three of them together to create the name Yashuda.”
Sylvia kept her focus forward as she nervously whispered.
“I know those names; tonight, I will
ask if I can converse with the Mother. I have never tried before.”
Neilaya quickly spoke with a firm tone.
“I will join you; if she won’t speak to
you, she damned well better speak with me.”
Sylvia glanced
over at her with a smile of trust on her face.
Paul left the
school and headed straight for Joey’s house, looking forward to their meeting
with Sylvia, and at last he would see what her house looked like, and learn
more about combining their powers. As he pulled into the drive he could see two
big fire-trucks spraying water on a pile of ashes where the barn once stood. He
quickly parked his truck and ran to Joey and pulled him into a tight embrace.
“Are you okay sweetheart, are you
okay?”
Paul spun Joey
around in a circle so he could see, then Joey pulled Paul back into a bear hug.
“Yes babe, I’m fine.” Joey assured
him.
“What happened?” Paul quickly
demanded.
“Someone set the barn on fire.” Joey’s dad
barked out.
He stood giving
the two boys a hard stare as they held onto each other as if they were women,
then Joey straightened up from Paul’s embrace.
“Dad, this is Paul; my boyfriend.”
Paul stood
straight and tall as he reached out his hand and spoke with confidence.
“Paul McDowell, glad to finally meet
you Mr. Coaly.”
Mr. Coaly took
Paul’s hand with a firm grip and stared at his face.
“You are the quarterback at the school
that everyone talks about.”
“Yes sir; that would be me.” He proudly replied.
Steve Coaly is
a rugged looking farmer, six-feet, two-hundred-twenty lbs. a larger image of
Joey.
Steve turned
his attention back onto the pile of ashes while making his assessment.
“Well, I guess the mystery of why you
don’t have a girlfriend is solved.”
“DAD!!” Joey yelled
out.
Steve put his
arm around his son’s neck and pulled him into his side.
“Don’t worry son, my lips are sealed.”
“Is there anything that I can do?” Paul asked.
They all stood
and watched the firemen rolling up their hoses as Steve gave his answer.
“Yes Paul, there is; if you would take
Joey someplace else for a while.”
“Well, we do have a date with Neilaya
and Sylvia.” He informed Mr. Coaly.
Steve released
Joey from his tight grip.
“Well; that sounds encouraging.”
“DAD!!!” Joey scolded.
Joey leaned
against his muscled-up boyfriend and watched his dad walking away with a loud
chuckle.
Neilaya sat in
her tiny recliner reading as fast as she could, trying to find out how one was
required to behave when conversing with the Mother Goddess. She looked over at
Sylvia and watched her wrestling with a cabinet door as she tossed the book
down on the coffee table with a complaint.
“Nothing; there is nothing I can find
that tells me what to say to the Mother.”
Sylvia paused for a moment and glanced over at her with an explanation
why.
“That’s because there is protocol, you
just can’t go and talk to the Mother of life or the Father of creation on a
whim.”
Neilaya leaned
forward in her seat and stared as she continued her quest to get the cabinet
door to open.
“So, are doing something wrong?”
Sylvia softly
answered, then began to yell while jerking hard on the door handle.
“No, not wrong; just outside of
protocol. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS DOOR!”
Neilaya could
not help but let out a loud giggle at her actions as she jokingly surmised.
“Maybe the Gods are mad at you. What’s
in there anyway?”
Sylvia sank
back onto her butt and slowly looked up at her, then spoke with regret in her
voice.
“The things we need for the ceremony;
your right, she doesn’t want to speak with me.”
Neilaya quickly countered her remark.
“No, no, no, sweetheart; maybe the Gods
just want you to consider what you are going to say before you make such an
important call.”
Sylvia stood
and went over to take a seat beside Neilaya, sparking her hand into hers, then
gave a gentle smile while making a confession.
“I haven’t stopped to think that far ahead.”
She closed her
eyes and began to concentrate on exactly what to say, and Neilaya closed her
eyes and assisted with her contemplation. Suddenly there was a loud buzzing
noise that came from the intercom by the front door causing them both to open
their eyes with a jump. Neilaya looked at her with big eyes and whispered.
“Maybe it’s the Mother.”
Sylvia giggled as she sarcastically replied.
“Very funny, love; very funny.”
She stood and
sparked her lips across hers before heading for the door to see who was at the
gate.
“Who is it?”
Paul yelled into the com as if he were
at a drive-thru.
“Paul and Joey!”
She quickly gave instructions while pushing the button to open the
gate.
“Okay, just wait until the gate is all
the way open or my gargoyles will get upset.”
“You got it.” Paul chuckled
back.
Neilaya and
Sylvia met the young men out in the drive, and Neilaya embraced Joey as Sylvia
gently hugged Paul. Neilaya abruptly pulled away and placed her hand over her
nose.
“Gees Joey, you stink.”
Paul released
his grip on Sylvia and turned toward Neilaya with an explanation.
“Yeah, his barn just burnt to the
ground.”
Neilaya quickly
pulled him back into a tight embrace with an apology.
“Oh my god Joey, I’m so, so sorry.”
“Yeah. I can’t figure out why someone
would want to do that.” Joey calmly replied.
Sylvia tightly
gripped Paul’s arm with a gigantic spark.
“You think someone did this on
purpose?”
Paul
immediately pried her fingers away and yelled as he rubbed his arm.
“HEY! Control yourself.”
Joey wrapped
his arm around Paul and leaned into him as he continued.
“Well, the fire marshal said it was
deliberate.”
Sylvia wrapped
her arm around theirs and guided everyone toward the door.
“Everyone inside.”
When they were
safely in the house they all stood staring at Sylvia as she once again yanked
and yanked on the cabinet doorknob with a loud goaded sound.
“Aaaaaaaaa!!”
She stood and
turned toward the others and took a deep breath before speaking.
“Okay Neilaya, go get Joey a bathrobe
then show the boys the extra bathroom, then show Paul the laundry room. Ya’ll
meet me in the backyard, I’m going to get a hammer and open this cabinet.”
She quickly
headed for the closet that held the hammer.
Neilaya gave
the boys a short tour of the small castle and suggested not touching anything
without permission. When Sylvia returned to the living-room she froze in place
when she noticed the door to the cabinet standing ajar. Neilaya returned to the
living room in time to see her putting the last few items into a large red
wagon, and gave Sylvia a curious look as she picked up a double edge knife from
the wagon.
“What’s all this?”
Sylvia stared
down at the red wagon as she gave her answer.
“That is called an Athame, it’s very
important; I’m trying to remember everything, but I know I’m forgetting
something.”
Neilaya gently
laid the Athame back into its place and glanced over at her with a question.
“So, you have never talked to the
Mother Goddess before?”
Sylvia slowly
answered with trembling prevalent in her voice.
“A long, long time ago, but everything
was different then. Grab the folding table off the back porch and bring with.”
She quickly
headed for the back door with wagon in tow with Neilaya close behind. Neilaya
snatched up the fold-out table and continued to follow her down the yellow
brick sidewalk out to the soft green circle of grass. Sylvia retrieved a
homemade witch’s broom from the wagon and began to softly sweep the grass as
she gave a directive.
“Find the bottle of saltwater and
sprinkle it around in a big, big circle.”
She pulled the
bottle of water from the wagon and began to sprinkle it around the large circle
while making a request.
“Okay, but I need you to explain these
things to me.”
“I’m sweeping away any negative energy
and you are calling on the power of Earth and Water.” Sylvia
explained.
Once the
sweeping was complete, she quickly set up the table, then carefully unfolded a
white lace tablecloth across the top, then placed a large white candle into a
bright beautiful silver holder and placed it in the center of the table.
“Love, I can’t explain each item to you
right now, I’m way too nervous about this whole ordeal, just trust me, okay.”
Neilaya stepped
up in front of Sylvia and brought her to a stop, with silver sparkles in her
blue eyes she looked deep into her eyes and lovingly spoke.
“I will always trust you; I love you.”
Sylvia felt the
warmth of love fill her body when she pulled Neilaya into a tight embrace.
“And I love you so-so much; that’s one
thing I’m nervous about.”
“Wait, why would you be nervous about
that?” Neilaya responded.
Sylvia pulled
out of the hug and quickly moved to place the remaining items on the table.
“Not now love, we have to hurry before
I chicken out.”
The table was
set, the powers were called and both Sylvia and Neilaya had changed into thin
white see-through silk gowns. Now it was time to converse with the Mother Goddess,
The Goddess of Life. They stood face to face with their hands up in the air and
their fingers intertwined. When Neilaya heard an angry female voice speaking
with authority echo throughout the garden, her body flashed hot.
“I raised you better than this; why do
you call on me?”
“I am sorry Mother, but there are other
Gods involved, Gods I know nothing about.” Sylvia
explained.
As the Mother spoke, Her body began to tremble
so much Neilaya had to help her keep her stance.
“Tell me something I don’t already
know, and don’t say you have fallen in love; I said something I don’t already
know. You wanted this mission, and you were taught from birth about action and
reaction; you know me, and your father cannot get directly involved.”
Everything
quickly went silent, not even a leaf made a sound as Sylvia gave her
explanation.
“I was given the power to fight against
evil people and evil spirits; I do not have the power to go up against a God
face to face; this mission is going to fail mom.”
Neilaya opened
her eyes wide and stared hard at her tear-stained face, realizing Sylvia was
talking to her birth mother. She felt her heart might pound out of her chest as
the Mother continued to speak.
“You must teach Neilaya everything
about action and reaction; the one you must destroy is not a spirit possessing
a human, he is a demon from the abyss, and you have the power to defeat him. Do
not call upon me or your father again unless the mission has failed; one more
thing, find the Weather Wardens.”
Tears flowed
down Sylvia’s face as the garden once again filled with silence, then she
whispered.
“I love you mom and tell dad I love him
too.”
A huge gust of
wind blew out the white candle and Sylvia collapsed into Neilaya’s arms.
Neilaya slowly lowered her limp body to the ground, then closed her eyes and
began to pull energy up from the ground and transfer it into her new love.

CHAPTER FOUR
Pixies & Djinns
Every inch of
Sylvia’s body hurt as she slowly opened her eyes, and she could feel the cool
damp cloth Neilaya was gently wiping across her face. The first thing she saw
was two fine looking boys standing at her feet staring down at her thin
see-through gown, and she just had to ask the question.
“Do you like what you see?”
“Very much so.” Paul quickly
assured her.
Sylvia could
not stop from laughing at his remark, then moaned her reply.
“Aw ~ aw ~ aw; please don’t make me
laugh; it hurts when I laugh.”
She realized
her head was lying in Neilaya’s lap when she began to speak while dipping the
cloth into a bowl of cool water, then gently wiping her forehead.
“We need to get you up to the bedroom
sweetheart.”
Sylvia licked
her lips in the attempt to moisten them and agreed.
“Yes, that would be nice.”
Paul quickly
stepped in when Neilaya slipped her hand under Sylvia’s head to help her raise
up.
“Here, allow me.”
He squatted
down and slipped his powerful arms underneath raven beauty and easily lifted
her from the ground, then headed for the back of the house. He stopped in place
when she looked up into his eyes and began yelling.
“My things, I have to get all my
things.”
Neilaya gently
placed her hands around Sylvia’s face and gave her a gentle kiss with surety.
“I got this; trust me, babe.”
Sylvia let her
head fall back against Paul’s massive chest as she whispered her reply.
“I will always trust you; I love you.”
Neilaya
carefully placed each item into the large red wagon with the help of Joey, then
pulled it into the house and parked it in front of the cabinet with the sticky
door. Paul slowly came down the stairs with a bewildered look, and when he
reached the bottom of the stairs he looked over at Neilaya with a comment.
“Gees, have you seen her room? It’s
like a fairyland.”
“Yes Paul, we are engaged.” Neilaya
giggled.
She maneuvered
around him and quickly headed up the stairs with a bottle of cool water for her
love. Paul eased his big arm around Joey’s shoulders as they stared at the back
of the see-through gown that didn’t do much in hiding her exotic butt. Paul
could not stop himself from blurting out behind her.
“May I daydream about that?”
Hearing his
words, she quickly answered while continuing up the steps.
“Yep, but no magic; Beltane will be
here before you know it.”
Her comment
caused the two boys to chuckle out loud as they stood at the bottom of the
stairs staring up at her perfectly shaped naked butt.
Neilaya slipped
into bed beside her love with care, causing Sylvia to raise up a bit with a
pleasing smile. She placed her head on Neilaya’s soft warm shoulder as Neilaya
scolded her.
“How come you didn’t tell me that you
are a Goddess?”
Sylvia
whispered as she reached for the bottle of water as she countered.
“Love, love, love; I’m not a Goddess,
I’m a flesh and blood human just like you.”
Neilaya took a
moment to let her drink down the bottle of water before responding.
“Well, not exactly like me; but for now, tell
me about this weather warden thingy.”
Sylvia quickly
lowered the bottle and swallowed hard, then turned to stare into Neilaya’s eyes
and excitingly replied.
“Wait, wait, wait; are you saying you
heard my mother’s voice.”
Neilaya had the look of confusion as she answered.
“Yes, I heard everything.”
Sylvia laid her
head back on her shoulder as she whispered.
“WOW!! Mom must really, really like
you.”
Still curious about the Mother Goddess being her mom, Neilaya quietly
asked.
“Were you ever a Goddess?”
Sylvia wrapped
her arms around her and snuggled up tight, then replied before fading off into
dreamland.
“Yes love; yes I was. There is so much
to tell you, and so much to teach, but now I’m just a regular human that needs
to sleep.”
Paul and Joey
sat snuggling together on the tiny couch watching the big screen, amused that
such a large mansion would have such small furniture. Suddenly they both jumped
in their skin when the com by the door began to buzz intermittently.
“What should we do?” Joey quietly
asked.
They both sat
staring at each other for a moment as the intermittent buzzing kept going.
“I’ll go check on the girls.” Paul decided.
He wrestled
himself up from the tiny couch and quickly headed toward the stairs. Neilaya
met him in the corridor and they both promptly head down to terminate the
buzzing sound, so to prevent it from waking Sylvia from her much-needed rest.
Neilaya quickly pushed the button on the wall and shouted.
“WHAT!”
Her voice was
almost as loud as the buzzer had been, and after a few long seconds of complete
silence, a shaky male voice came through the speaker.
“UM ~ UM. I don’t know; my name is
Roger, Roger Smith.”
“What are you doing here Roger?” Neilaya
demanded with irritation in her voice.
“Neilaya, is that you Neilaya?” He nervously
inquired.
“Yes Roger, this is Neilaya, now why
are you here?” She demanded.
Neilaya and
Paul stood giving each other a muddled look while waiting for an answer. Roger
spoke slowly, knowing his words made him sound like a skitzo.
“I ~ I don’t know Neilaya; I was
following a tiny white sparkling light, and it led here.”
Neilaya was
staring at the boys in disbelief when she heard Sylvia’s voice coming from the
top of the stairs.
‘Let him in love, the fairies brought
him here.”
Neilaya pushed
the button on the wall as she watched Sylvia start down the stairs one step at
a time at a snail's pace.
“Great, just great; now we have
fairies. Wait until the gate is all the way open or you will piss-off the
gargoyles.”
Sylvia giggled out her response to Neilaya’s outburst.
“So, you do pay attention to the things
I say.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, I love you too.” Neilaya giggled
back.
She could see
Sylvia was still in a weak state and quickly moved to pull her into an
electrifying embrace as she gave orders.
“Paul, Joey, go and bring Roger up.”
“On it.” Paul
immediately responded.
He gripped Joey
by the hand and headed for the door. Sylvia could feel the enormous quantity of
positive energy Neilaya was pouring into her as she gave her a mandate.
“Love, I need you to call your dad and
tell him you want to meet him at the burger shack tomorrow at noon.”
“But we will be at school.” She reminded her.
“No love, we are taking a sick day; now
let’s get back to bed.” She informed Neilaya.
Neilaya
whispered as she turned and started back toward the stairs with her arm wrapped
tight around Sylvia’s waist.
“I hope it goes as well as I keep
imagining it will.”
“It will love, promise; it will.” Sylvia guaranteed.
Neilaya
contemplated on the situation as she helped Sylvia creep back up the stairs,
and quietly asked.
“So, we have fairies now.”
Sylvia pulled her
to a stop when they reached the top of the stairs with some advice.
“Yes, fairies are nice; Djinns, not so
nice.”
Neilaya shook her head and whispered as they continued down the
corridor.
“Djinns, we have Djinns also; I have a
lot to learn.”
Sylvia’s sweet voice giggled in agreement.
“Yeah you do; but for now, ~ I am so
freaking horny.”
Her words
caused Neilaya to pick up the pace a bit toward the fancy carved wooden door leading
into the fairytale bedroom, and she let out a flamboyant giggle as she softly
closed the door behind them.
Roger was in
disbelief at all the medieval weaponry hanging on the walls as Paul and Joey escorted
him into the big living-room with all the tiny furniture. Roger nervously made
his inquiry as Joey and Paul settled back onto the small sofa.
“That tiny blinking light I followed;
do you know what it is?”
Doing his best to seem casual, Paul calmly
gave an answer as if this kind of thing happened all the time
“Yeah; it’s a fairy.”
Roger stood silen for a moment in disbelief.
“If that’s true, and Fairies are real; Why
would it bring me here?”
Paul pointed
toward one of the tiny recliners with a gesture to sit as he surmised.
“Because you have info that we need.”
He slowly
lowered himself into the small chair, realizing just how much he did not know
about this super-natural dimension while admitting his fear.
“Gees Paul; I’m so scared that I’m
going to get hurt.”
Paul pointed
toward the XXX-rated movie that was playing on the big screen, hoping to quiet
him as he responded.
“Yeah, you were never much on the ball
field either; anyway, the girls are in charge of our little circle, so make
yourself comfortable and watch some boob-tube.
As night closed
in the boys had grown bored watching the same positions playing over and over
again and again, so Joey looked up at Paul with his head lying against his wide
chest.
“I am ready for bed; so, what are we supposed
to do with Roger?”
Paul glanced over at the frightened ball player with distain as he
answered.
“I will keep an eye on him while you go
up and ask the girls.”
He pushed on
Joey’s soft butt to help him get up from the little sofa, and could not help
but grin with desire while watching his chubby butt wiggle up the stairs while
shouting out directions.
“Top of the stairs and turn left,
second door on the right.”
He cautiously
made his way down the corridor and stood outside the fancy door, then took a
deep breath and slowly exhaled before lightly knocking. Sylvia’s magical voice
seemed to have the sound of gratification as she softly spoke.
“Yes dear, you may enter.”
He gradually
opened the wooden door and stepped into the fairytale bedroom. He stood in a
trance as he stared at the two most beautiful girls he knew lying on the bed,
completely naked. Sylvia was propped up on her pillow with Neilaya sleeping in
her arms as they lay among several sex toys.
“Yes Joey.” Sylvia softly
inquired.
Joey tried his
best to peel his eyes away but to no avail, but finally got the words squeezed
out.
“What ~ UM ~ what are we ~ UM ~ going
to do with Roger?”
Sylvia answered
while noticing the huge bulge in his pants grow larger as he quickly turned his
eyes away in embarrassment.
“At the end of the hallway, there is a
small bedroom, put him in there.”
Joey could not
stop himself from glancing back toward the two beauties one more time as he
spoke.
“And me and Paul.”
Sylvia thought
for a moment while concentrating on the unexpected size of the ever-expanding
bulge in his pants, then made a suggestion.
“Bring Paul in here; we are going to
have an early Beltane.”
Neilaya began
to stir from the sound of excitement coming out of Joey as he ran down the hall
yelling.
“YES!! YES!! YES!!”
Neilaya glanced
at the door that he had left open in his rush to tell Paul the good news.
“What’s up sweetheart?”
Sylvia pulled
her tight into her bosom with a loud giggle.
“I invited the boys to a early
Beltane.”
Neilaya
snuggled back into her loving embrace.
Neilaya
instantly raised herself up on one arms and stared into Sylvia’s glowing eyes
and shouted with enthusiasm.
“FOR REAL; SERIOUSLY, FOR REAL!”
She sat and
looked at Sylvia as if waiting for the punchline. Sylvia, with a devious smile,
sparked her fingers across Neilaya’s soft cheek and whispered.
“For real love, they are on their way
up.”
Neilaya snuggled
back into her with tranquility, anticipating her first sexual experience with
the opposite sex which included the one young man she truly cared for, then
whispered.
“I “love” my new
religion.”
When the morning
light bled through the curtain Neilaya slowly open her eyes with a warmth permeating
within, knowing she was truly no longer a virgin. She sat up and looked around
the bedroom only to see Paul, Joey, and herself in the bed. A devious smile
crossed her face as she straddled Joey and began to wake him with gentle
back-and-forth movements.
Sylvia was
standing in the kitchen over a hot stove cooking breakfast interrogating Roger,
as he sat at the table sipping coffee and telling his story of horror about a
real demon that was taking over the biggest church in town, the congregation,
and plans to take over the entire town. When Neilaya entered the kitchen Sylvia
could tell exactly what she had been up to and quickly met her halfway, taking her
into an affectionate, silvery glowing embrace, along with an enunciation.
“Good morning love; looks like you have
already had breakfast.”
Neilaya mirthfully responded.
“Ha-ha. I have never been this content
in my whole life; I love you so, so very much sweetheart.”
Sylvia gave her
a quick kiss on the lips, then whispered.
“And I love you more; now go get ready
for your lunch date.”
She swiftly looked
toward the clock on the microwave and calmly asked.
“What time is it anyway?”
“Ten o'clock.” Sylvia giggled.
Neilaya
instantly turned and headed toward the stairs at a run while loudly repeating
one word over and over.
“HECKY, HECKY,
HECKY; ~ HECKY, HECKY, HECKY.”
Roger nervously brought
Sylvia’s attention back his way with a question.
“So, what about me, are you going to
lock me in a dungeon or something?”
She slipped
into a chair and gave a Machiavellian smile with fire-engine-red eyes, then
slowly leaned across the table close to a nervous Roger, then looked him
straight in the eyes as she callously spoke.
“I would like for you to keep Paul and
Joey company today; and to answer your question, this little coven is of are
pure truth and white magic with a touch of power from the father and mother;
now, enjoy your day; I need to prepare for a meeting.”
She left him
sitting alone at the table with platters filled with pancakes and crispy veggie
bacon. Paul made a cheerful remark as he and Joey passed her heading up the
stairs to help Neilaya with her shower.
“Something smells great, my Priestess.”
Without slowing
down from her quest, she promptly replied.
“It’s on the table my handsome lover
boys.”
Neilaya could
not stop herself from staring when Sylvia exited the bathroom wearing her
favorite, long, tight-fitting dress that matched her glowing red hair, then
Sylvia spoke softly as she zapped her fingers around Neilaya’s and headed for
the door.
“O.K. love, let’s go talk to daddy.”
She pulled the
red rocket to a stop in front of the burger shack as Neilaya apprehensively
fiddled with her pentagram necklace. Sylvia leaned over, giving her a gentle
loving kiss before speaking.
“I will be back in thirty minutes.”
Neilaya quickly
took a tight hold onto her hand.
“Wait, you’re not coming with? What if
he gets angry like before?”
Sylvia slowly
pulled her hand from Neilaya’s grip and gave her a loving smile with her answer.
“This is between you and your father; but
I promise, everything is going to be fine; if you keep him talking for ten
minutes his attitude will completely change; now go and talk to your dad.”
Neilaya squinted her eyes as she made a stern inquiry.
“Wait, you’re not going to use magic on
my dad.”
Sylvia pulled a dark pair of designer sunglasses from the visor and
slipped them on as she answered.
“I promise you sweety, I will never use
magic on your father.”
She left
Neilaya at the burger shop and made her way to the center of town, and the
parking lot was deserted when she pulled her red vet around to the side of the church.
Her father’s light seemed to be brighter than usual today as she exited the car,
but with her designer sunglasses she headed for the big double doors while sarcastically
acknowledging her father's presence.
“Yeah, I hear you dad.”
The church
seemed eerily quiet as Sylvia slipped her sunglasses into the cleavage of her
low cut skimpy tight-fitting fire-engine red dress, then positioned herself at
the back of the pews and patiently waited. After a moment or two the evil
stranger entered through a side door and took his stance in front of the altar,
piercing at Sylvia through coal black eyes with an evil grin.
“You best go and suck on that tinder
young tit, while she’s still warm.”
Sylvia gave a
sideways grin as she raised her open hand up into the air, then her eyes began
to light up with a burning fire of bright red. Slowly, she wrapped her fingers
into a tight fist, and with one quick move slammed her fist down through the
air in front of herself. A loud thunder echoed through the church as a bolt of
energy flashed down from the ceiling slamming right into the stranger, leaving
a tiny pile of ash where he once stood. Sylvia retrieved her sunglasses from
her cleavage and slipped them back on as she uncaringly exited out through the
double doors while giving her mother a petition.
“One down and a few million to go;
sorry mom, but he wasn’t human; I will not allow this mission to fail; anyway;
what good is magic if you can’t use it.

CHAPTER FIVE
THE WEDDING
Their quaint
little town seemed normal for now, as normal as one could expect with evil
itself trying to destroy one of its prized citizens, a resident that was now
engaged to marry the Priestess from the Father God and Mother Goddess
themselves.
The quartet
decided Roger would not make a good addition to their little circle for the
simple fact it seemed he was too easily swayed to change sides, and too willing
to indulge information. Sylvia made sure every time he tried to dabble in
witchcraft fairies would discourage him.
Beltane
celebration was the best time Neilaya ever had, also she and her dad were once
again besties. Jim even grew to care for Sylvia and come to accept the
Priestess as his future daughter-in-law after adjusting his deep beliefs a bit,
but the smile of happiness on his little princess’s face made it worth the
change.
The celebration
of Litha was closing in fast and Neilaya was reading everything she could find
about this special event. She was deep in thought with her nose buried in a
book when Sylvia plopped down a pile of paperbacks onto the table in front of
her. Neilaya reluctantly peeked over the top of the book with a question.
“What’s this?
Sylvia placed
her hand on top of the pile of books and stared at her with a recommendation.
“You have read enough about Litha; you
need to read these.”
Neilaya slowly
laid down the book she was reading and picked up one and began to quietly read
the cover, front and back.
“The Weather Wardens, by–Rachel Caine.”
Sylvia closely
watched as she opened the book and begin to read the prologue. Neilaya quickly
lowered the book and perplexingly looked up at her through squinted eyes and
confusingly declared.
“Wait, wait; these are fiction.”
Sylvia turned
and started in the direction of the kitchen, laughing out her sarcastic reply.
“Sure, they are, pay close attention to
action and reaction, and the Djinn.”
Joey and Paul
were invited to move into one of the many bedrooms of Sylvia’s small castle,
and both paid close attention to her lessons in the art of magic. Being a
Goddess herself, before volunteering for this mission, her magic was superior. She
was given powers that no other Priestess had, making her little circle the most
powerful Coven on the earth. Followers of the Pagan religion being only human
don’t cognize all the magical things that the Universe holds, such things as Weather
Wardens, Djinns and fairies, nor could communicate with the many entities that
live up in the ether as Sylvia could. With Neilaya now having the power of the Weather
Wardens, Sylvia knew she must quickly teach her to maneuver safely through what
is forbidden to all humans.
Neilaya slowly
slipped into the kitchen and took a seat at the table, nervously making a
request while fiddling with her necklace.
“Sylvia, I’m going to ask you something
and I want you to be completely honest with me.”
The tall
redhead took a seat next to her and sparked their hands together, then lovingly
looked deep into her eyes with a vow.
“I would never lie to you, love.”
Neilaya sat for
a moment staring into her eyes, praying she would understand the reason she
felt compelled to ask.
“O.K. I never even imagined in my
wildest dreams that I would ever fall in love with another girl; so, I need to
know; did you use magic on me?”
Sylvia was
stunned at the question and instantly gave Neilaya a concerned look.
“Gees, no: I would never do that, love;
falling in love is way too special to use magic, please believe me it’s all
you.”
Neilaya quickly
pulled her into an electrifying embrace when she saw the hurt in Sylvia’s eyes.
“Okay, I just had to ask; but I will
never question you again.”
They fell into
an erotic wet tongue wrestling to make up for her miss trust. Paul interrupted
their intimate moment when he entered the kitchen heading for the refrigerator
with casual information.
“There is someone at the gate.”
Sylvia quickly
jumped to her feet and headed for the front door with beautiful blonde lover
close behind. The buzzer was at a steady annoying buzz as Sylvia pushed the com
button with a loud demand.
“What!”
Her face seemed to lose three shades of color when A feminine
male voice joyfully echoed through the com.
“Hey love.”
Neilaya noticed
Sylvia start to tremble while giving him a mandate.
“Go away”
But
the gentle sounding voice arrogantly relied.
“Come on Desire, you know you want to
see me.”
Now Sylvia’s voice was noticeably shaking as she responded.
“NO! No I don’t; my name is Sylvia; now
go away.”
Neilaya was
confused at what she was hearing coming through the speakers, sounds of deep
growling accompanied the voice.
“That’s right - you are a human now; a
human with way too much power; anyway; I have a special message just for you
from the ether, DESIRE; now call off your gargoyles before I maim them.”
She quickly gave
him a stern warning while pushing the button that opened the gate, then quickly
headed for the door.
“If you hurt my pets I’ll spread your
energy so far across the Universe it will take you eons to pull yourself back
together.”
She stopped
with one hand on the doorknob and turned to stare at Neilaya, which was right
on her hills.
“Everybody stay inside.”
Neilaya gave a sideways glare as she responded.
“Yeah, like that’s going to happen.”
She stood tall
and firm to match her lover's stance, but Sylvia gave a pleading look while
explaining who was at the gate.
“Neilaya my love, this is a Djinn, and
he doesn’t like humans.”
Neilaya stood
her ground with a look of confidence as she spoke.
“I don’t care if it’s your daddy
himself, I’m coming with.”
Sylvia released
the doorknob and pulled her into an electrifying embrace.
“I love you so, so much; you stay
behind me.”
Neilaya gave her a peck on the lips and bravely replied.
“And I love you more; now let’s meet
your Djinn.”
She did an
exceptional job concealing her surprise when they stepped out the door into the
drive. Standing behind the handsome, five-foot-tall, angelical looking entity
were two large gargoyles with red eyes. Sylvia held up her hand while giving
the large beasts a firm order.
“I got this.”
Her words
caused the scary creatures to turn and slowly head back down the drive,
occasionally glancing back with loud growls. The male entity slowly gave Sylvia
a once over while giving his warning.
“Not bad, not bad for a human body, I
hate this realm myself; but I need to tell you to stay out of the ether.”
Sylvia stared
at him with her best authoritative stance.
“Kanab, you or no one else has the
authority to keep me from the ether.”
He gave his
assessment while returning her stare with a devious grin.
“You are no more than a human now; I
can crush you as easily as crushing a comet.”
She immediately
changed her position, placing herself between the Djinn and Neilaya as she
cautioned.
“How rapidly you forget exactly who you
are threatening.”
Kanab matched her
stance as he prepared for the coming battle, then replied with an angry tone.
“S-Y-L-V-I-A, maybe should have stayed
as the Goddess, D-E-S-I-R-E;”
She quickly
moved forward to block Neilaya from the imminent battle, then suddenly Kanab
put his hand over his eyes as the Sun began to shine spectacularly bright
around him, and once again he spoke out in anger before fading away.
“O.K. ~ O.K. ~; you are still your
father's little Priestess; but your lover isn’t, keep her out of the ether.”
Sylvia
placed her hands on her hips and looked up at the sky and spoke with
aggravation in her voice.
“I had this, Dad!”
She took
Neilaya by the hand and slowly walked back into the house with the tall blonde
slowly whispering in a daze.
“We have fairies, we have Djinns, and
now our gargoyles can come to life. Is there anything else I need to know; oh
yes, I’m a Weather Warden.”
Sylvia admitted
while gently towing her down into the love.
“Yes love, there is much, much more you
need to learn.”
Neilaya slowly
leaned into her bosom and decided she needed resolve.
“Sweetheart, why can’t your mom and dad
just do whatever it is that needs to be done?”
Sylvia took a
deep breath and gave the best answer she could find that a mere human could
understand.
“Well love, I will try to explain it
the best I can; when mom and dad first began to pull energy into direction, it
was spectacular; all the things they created made them joyful, but they never
knew they were creating action and reaction, simply because it never existed before.
Then one day something awful happened to one of their creations; well, they
rushed to repair it, which caused another horrific thing to happen in another
part of the Universe; then they began to realize that every time they corrected
one thing, another would go wrong; that’s when they realized they had created
action and reaction. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction;
they started creating resultant spirits, or gods and goddesses; they ordered
these gods and goddesses to go out and delicately equalize out these terrible
effects, slowly, not to cause too much of a reaction; but no matter how much
they tried, they could not stop evil from becoming; they considered destroying
everything they had created in order to stop this evil, but then determined if
they did, that would cause an equal opposite reaction; so now mom and dad just
deal with Creation and Life, and all other things are delegated to the gods and
goddesses, like for instance if you stop or start a thunderstorm in one place,
it can disrupt the weather in another; action and reaction. That’s the best way
that I can explain it for now, but there is something much more pressing we
need to discuss love.”
“O.K. What’s up?” Neilaya asked.
Sylvia gently
laid her head on top of hers.
“I know you have been making plans for
a big wedding, but we need to get married right away.”
Neilaya quickly
objected.
“But I made all these plans sweetheart.”
Sylvia shifted a bit and pulled her closer as she explained just how
much danger Neilaya was in.
“I know love, and we can still have the
ceremony just like you want, but there are a lot of entities that are pissed
that I left the ether and chose to become human, and they blame you; the
problem with that is you are not protected as I am; but when we are married we
will become as one, and whatever protection I am given will extend to you; so
can we get married like, tomorrow?”
Neilaya gave her a slight squeeze and answered softly.
“I want my dad to be there, so I’ll
give him a call.”
Neilaya
squeezed tight into Sylvia’s bosom and began to giggle as she looked up into
her eyes.
“Sweetheart, that Djinn, Kanab; he
called you Desire; I read something about a Spirit or Goddess named Desire,
were you named after her?”
Sylvia took a
moment to contemplate, knowing she couldn't lie to the one she loved.
“No; no, love; I was not named after
Desire; I was Desire.”
She felt a
flood of burning hot energy flow through Neilaya as she tried vigorously to
grasp what she was just told. Neilaya rose up on her arms with her response,
which she brought the end to a hard point.
“No, no, no, you can’t be Desire; I
mean; Desire was their very first-born spirit; MY GOD ~ HOW OLD ARE YOU!?”
Sylvia giggled her explanation.
“I told you, I’m twenty-two. In the
realm of the gods and goddesses, there is no such thing as time, it’s just
imminent; but I was born a human twenty-two years ago.”
Neilaya kept
her big deep blue eyes locked onto Sylvia’s deep blue eyes.
“Wait, wait; then where is your human
mom?”
Sylvia’s
whispered with a shaky voice as her eyes filled with water and a speck of red
flickered in the center of her pupils.
“She lives in Heaven now.”
Neilaya could
clearly see the thought of her human mom deeply upset her, and decided not to
mention it again, and patiently wait until she was ready to share the story. Pulling
her love up and toward the bathroom, She quickly diverted.
“Okay, we need to take a shower and make
some calls before bed.”
When Neilaya
was woken by the ringing of her cell, she could hear thunder off in the
distance. She reached and retrieved the phone from the bedside table then
snuggled back into Sylvia’s arms. “Dad” is what she read on the caller I.D.
Sylvia slightly giggled at her “ah-hu” and “yeah, I sees’” then she laid the
phone onto the bed to fade back to dreamland. Sylvia lovingly rocked her to and
fro with a reminder.
“Hey, babe; come on, we have a big day
ahead of us.”
Neilaya’s eyes
instantly popped open when her mind engaged with the events this day was
promising and was up, making a mad dash toward the bathroom.
The coven of
four stood in the living-room, ready to head out to the pending wedding. They
listened to the treacherous claps from the thunderstorm raging outside which
shook the castle. Neilaya suggested taking the Subaru to the church, and all
agreed. Paul grabbed an umbrella and headed out the front door with a
directive.
“I will bring
the car into the garage for you ladies.”
Sylvia noticed
the gargoyle's eyes were glowing red as Neilaya pulled out through the gate in
the pouring rain.
“Love, we are going to do something,
and we will deal with the consequences later; but no one is going to screw with
our wedding.”
Neilaya
lovingly sparked her hand into Sylvia’s, realizing this wasn’t a typical
run-of-the-mill thunderstorm.
“What do you need me to do?”
“Keep your eyes on the road and think
about a warm sunny day.” Sylvia instructed.
She laid her
head against the back of the seat and closed her eyes, and Neilaya could feel
the energy she was pulling through her hand. Sylvia cautiously lifted her
energy up into the ether. As soon as Kanab saw her he fired a burst of energy
her way in order to slow her down while he made his escape. Sylvia simply
swatted the burst to the side and watched him fade into the ether. Any other
time she would have given chase for battle, but today she had more pressing
matters on her mind. When she turned and took a look around the ether she
glowed red with aggravation, right behind her in the ether was Paul’s energy
shining brightly. She quickly grabbed hold of his energy and slammed them back
into their bodies. She spun around in her seat and gave him a hard stare as she
shouted.
“Don’t you ever do that again; ever,
ever, ever; humans are not welcome up in the ether.”
“It didn’t seem that bad.” He responded.
Sylvia kept her
red glowing hard stare on him.
“Paul, if you don’t protect your body,
there are entities that will take control of it.”
He gave her a
sober stare.
“Well then, I suggest you teach me how
to protect my body.”
Sylvia spun
back around in her seat and stared out the windshield with a shout.
“SHIT!”
Hardly ever
hearing a cuss word coming from her lover, it upset Neilaya to perceive such a
word could come from her mouth.
“Sylvia!” She scolded.
Sylvia quickly
zapped her fingers back around Neilaya’s.
“I’m sorry, love; it’s just that the
ether is a very dangerous place.”
“Yeah – well, that felt so; “FREAKING COOL.” Neilaya brought
to a hard point.
Sylvia quickly
turned toward her with an amazed look on her face.
“Wait, wait; you could feel that?”
Neilaya instantly answered with a forewarning.
“Every tiny bit; tonight, we are going
to make love up in the ether.”
Sylvia quickly
countered her suggestion.
“I don’t know love; I mean, that’s
never been done before.”
Neilaya could
still feel the lingering tingle from the ether coursing through her body as she
began to giggle.
“Welp sweetheart, there’s a first time
for everything.”
The storm had
cleared, and the sun was shining bright when Neilaya pulled into the church
parking lot and passed a line of recognizable faces waiting outside. Both
Walter and Martha, Paul’s parents; along with Joey’s parents, Steve and Leila
were there, and of course Jim was proudly waiting for his Princess. Jim quickly
took Neilaya’s hand and headed for the side door with Leila and Martha hot on
their hills.
“What’s up dad?” Neilaya
nervously asked.
Jim closed the
door behind them and lifted a long flowing white wedding gown from its rack as
he spoke with a shaky voice.
“This was your mother's.”
He quickly
handed it to Martha and exited the room before his princess could see the tears
running down his face, then Leila guided the bride toward the makeup table with
a large mirror with a vow.
“You will be the most beautiful bride
to ever walk down these isles.”
Sylvia stood
watch in front of the church, while the others prepared for the big event. She
brought herself to attention when noticing a little old lady slowly making her
way across the parking lot in her direction. The elderly woman walked up and
stared at Sylvia for a moment as Sylvia stared down at the her. Even though
this small woman was very attractive, Sylvia could see life had been rough on
her by the wrinkles covering her face. The woman began to speak with a shaky
voice while gently placing her shaking hand onto Sylvia’s arm.
“It’s you; it’s really, really you;
It’s been so, so long Desire.”
Sylvia stood
with a shocked look on her face, not being familiar with this woman and
wondering how she knew her Goddess name. The woman stared talking of things
unknown to humans as her eyes filled with tears.
“Oh dear, you have to remember me; we
used to terrorize the ether together; Joy; it's Joy sweetheart; please remember
me.”
Sylvia quickly
pulled Joy into a tight embrace.
“Oh god; oh god; is it really you?”
Joy reminisced of the last time they had seen each other.
“Yes dear, it’s really me; the last
time I saw you the word “time” wasn’t in our vocabulary.”
Sylvia recalled their departure many years ago.
“Yes, I remember now; you volunteered
for a mission.”
She released
her grip on Joy and looked down at her weathered face as Joy turned and glanced
at the large building.
“Yeah; that did not turn out so well;
so let’s talk about you; you go to church now.”
Sylvia got a
big smile across her face as silver sparkles filled her eyes and gleefully
announced.
“I’m getting married today.”
Joy quickly noted how hard life for a human could be.
“Thank you; thank you; thank you, sweet
Mother of life; it’s a lonely life down her when you’re alone.”
Sylvia gently
placed an arm around her oldest friend’s shoulder and softly spoke while heading
toward the big double doors.
“You will never be alone again, now I
have a relative at my wedding.”
“Thank you, thank you.” Joy cried
through tears.
The Sun seemed
to brighten up a bit and the flowers became more brilliant in their colors, and
the wedding went off without a hitch. Sylvia knew she was truly in love, watching
her bride come down the aisle in her mother’s wedding gown, walking beside her father.
Her heart began to pound so loud she feared that the entire congregation could
hear when she raised the veil to see the most beautiful rosy face she had ever
seen.
She explained
who Joy was to her coven on the drive home, and Neilaya continuously gave a
gentle smile up through the rearview mirror with a million questions dancing in
her head.
After everyone
had settled in for the evening, Sylvia and Neilaya slipped out to the green
circle of grass and drew their circle and called on the four powers. The two,
that were now one, sat holding hands with their naked butts pulling energy up
from the ground with their eyes closed. Neilaya became filled with exhilaration
when Sylvia gently lifted out her consciousness, and drifted up into the ether.
For a long time they just stared in amazement, beholding the beauty of the
other in this realm of existence. Knowing this had never been attempted before,
Sylvia carefully moved and let her energy touch up against Neilaya’s, causing a
great glow of silver energy to surround them. Neither had felt such power as
Neilaya let her energy penetrate within Sylvia’s as their combined energy
hummed with pleasure, and they became one. Time seemed nonexistent as they
playfully drifted through the ether, continuously passing in and out of each
other's dynamism. When the morning sun burning down on their necked backs
brought them back to the reality of space/time, they drifted back into their
bodies completely satisfied with their mystic all night honeymoon interlude.

CHAPTER SIX
NEW BEGINNING
Marriage suited
the young couple as Mabon quickly came and went with happy celebrations. Sylvia
was awakened by the sound of dry heaves coming from the bathroom and quickly
jumped from the bed and went to her lover's side.
“Hey, hey, love; what’s going on?”
Neilaya lifted
her head from the toilet and quietly answered as Sylvia took a wet cloth and
gently wiped her face.
“I’m sick.”
Sylvia helped
her lean back against the wall and kept gently wiping her face with the cool
wet rag, then placed the back of her hand up to Neilaya’s forehead with an
inquiry.
“Is it the flu, or something you ate?”
Sylvia was
trying to recall everything they had eaten as Neilaya placed her arm around her
neck to brace herself, then giggled out a suggestion.
“I’m not sure, but I’m feeling better
now; help me up and let’s take a long hot shower; and by hot, I’m not talking
temperature.”
Joey and Paul
had just sat down at the kitchen table when the newlyweds came in swathed in
each other with their hair wrapped in towels. Joy had cooked breakfast and the
boys were just dishing out the goodies onto their plates as the girls took
their seats. Neilaya set for a moment examining the hot pancakes and the veggie
bacon, then suddenly she was up and sprinting fast in the direction of the
lower bathroom with her hands covering her mouth. Joey gave Sylvia a concerned
look with his question.
“What’s up with her?”
“I think she’s getting the flu.” Sylvia
concluded.
Paul poured
maple syrup across his pancakes as Sylvia quickly headed in the direction
Neilaya had gone as Paul immediately chuckled out loudly behind her.
“Gees, I hope she’s not pregnant.”
Sylvia spun
around and gave him a hard go-to-hell look, then returned to her pursuit. She
eased through the bathroom door to find Neilaya hugging the toilet and quickly
grabbed a cloth and began to wet it.
“Okay love, I’m taking you to the
doctor.”
Neilaya leaned
up against the wall, then closed her eyes with a plea as Sylvia carefully wiped
her face.
“No, sweetheart; not a doctor.”
Sylvia pulled Neilaya’s arm around her shoulder as she insisted.
“Yes love, come on; let’s get you
dressed.”
She helped her
to her feet and headed for the stairs with Neilaya holding on around her waist.
Joey and Paul
walked the girls out to the red rocket, then Joey slowly considered out loud
while watching them cruise out the drive.
“We haven’t done anything since the day
of the wedding, so she can’t be pregnant.”
Paul instantly rebutted with an accusation.
“Unless she’s been getting “sum, sum”
on the side.”
Joey turned and
gazed at him with a disappointing look in his squinted eyes and shouted.
“PAUL!”
They watched
until the girls disappeared, then Paul conceded as he took Joey by the hand and
headed into the house.
“Yeah ~ she has a cold.”
Sylvia sat in
the doctor’s office reading a one-year-old magazine patiently waiting. A hot
flash surged through her body when Neilaya slowly came out the door with tears
trickling down her cheeks, and a far, far away look on her face. She quickly
rose to her feet and took her by the hand.
“What, what’s wrong love?”
Neilaya just
pointed toward the exit and slowly moved in that direction as if she had become
a zombie. Sylvia lovingly walked her to the car and lovingly helped her in. As
they rode along in complete silence all kinds of scary scenarios flowed through
Sylvia’s head. Neilaya lovingly reached and pulled Sylvia’s hand into a tight
grip, then intensely stared straight out the windshield as she quietly whispered
her announcement.
“I’m pregnant.”
“HOW! I mean…; No….no, that’s exactly
what I mean; HOW?!” Sylvia demanded.
Sylvia’s body
began to tremble as her reasoning began to churn, then Neilaya shrugged her
shoulders and offered her best theory about the situation.
“I have been doing the math; I got
pregnant on our wedding night.”
Sylvia glanced
over with a concerned look, refusing to believe Neilaya would ever cheat on her
as she countered.
“No love, I can’t get you pregnant.
Anyway, that can’t be right; we were in the ether all night.”
With a pale face, Neilaya glanced her way and softly replied.
“Yeah ~ that would mean this is your baby.”
It was Sylvia’s
turn to intently stare straight out the windshield in complete silence for a
few long moments.
“Mom is going to be really, really
pissed.” She declared.
“So, you think mom is going to be mad.”
Neilaya questioned.
Sylvia quickly tried to set her mind at ease.
“Oh, not about the baby, love; about me
calling her again.”
Nervous energy
began to resonate from Sylvia’s hand and into Neilaya’s as she leaned over and
gently kissed Sylvia’s cheek with assurance.
“Don’t worry sweetheart, I’ll be right
beside you.”
Sylvia glanced
over with a loving smile and whispered.
“I love you so, so much.”
Neilaya looked
over at her with glowing silver eyes and returned the same.
“And I love you more.”
Sylvia quickly
brought the car to a stop and pulled her into a loving kiss.
Joey and Paul
were all excited about the impending sound of teeny-tiny feet pity-pattering
around the house, and also relieved that neither was the father. Neilaya had
settled into the small sofa and absorbed herself into one of the paperbacks
Sylvia had given her as Sylvia paced back and forth from the living room then
back into the kitchen. Neilaya lowered her book to her lap and looked up at her
as she made one of her turnaround trips through the room.
“PLEASE! sweetheart, sit.”
Sylvia stopped
and gaped at her with fear present in her eyes.
“Mom’s going to be really, really
pissed; you know that right?”
Neilaya rose
from her comfy seat and wrapped her hands around her cheeks and stared deep
into her eyes with a look of confidence.
“I will talk to mom, okay; I will make
the call.”
Sylvia quickly
reached and pulled her into a tight magnifying embrace and sorely countered.
“NO! God no; don’t you remember the harsh punishment she imposed on me last time?”
Neilaya pulled her
down onto the sofa and wrapped her arms around her.
“She would not do that to me, she knows
I’m carrying her grandbaby inside me.”
Her words caused Sylvia to stop and abyssally stare, then whisper.
“Yes, she knows.”
The Father’s
light was low in the west as they set the folding table up in the center of the
soft green circle of grass, and Neilaya could clearly see Sylvia was nervous
about the call. Sylvia carefully set each item in its place, her wand with its
fancy carvings, the Athame along with the censer and incense, a chalice and
cauldron, she even placed her book-of-shadows upon the table beside the white
candle. Everything was set and ready for the ritual that would connect them to
the spiritual realm. The big circle was drawn, and the powers of Earth, Wind,
Water, and Fire were all called. Sylvia and Neilaya stood face to face in their
see-through white flowing gowns, holding their hands up into the air with their
fingers firmly intertwined and their eyes intensely closed. An unmovable
silence fell across the lush garden as a bright flicker of light shined through
their eyelids, causing them to peek out through small slits from squinted eyes.
They stood as still as they possibly could, watching a baseball size white
shimmering light slowly drifting down between them and vanishing into Neilaya’s
belly, then Sylvia delicately asked.
“Is that you mother?”
Silence filled
the garden as they stared into each other’s eyes, then a soft female voice
encompassed the garden.
“Yes, my child.”
“Mom. Neilaya is pregnant.” Sylvia softly
whispered.
“Tell me something I don’t already
know; you’re Father and I are very pleased.” She assured
her.
Neilaya could
feel a warm tingling in her belly and gave Sylvia a reassuring smile as she
questioned.
“Mother, is this really Sylvia’s baby?”
The Mother
voice seemed to be filled with joy when she replied.
“Yes, half Goddess and half human;
nurture and keep this child wrapped in love.”
“But mom, how is this even possible?” Sylvia asked.
“You are not the first, your Father and
I decided to give you two this special gift when we saw your energies up in the
ether. This child will be a very important part of your mission.” The Mother
explained.
“Wait, wait, wait; what do you mean we
are not the first” Neilaya quickly countered.
“A long time ago in Earth time, a young
virgin was given this gift in a slightly different way, and the child grew and
did change the direction of humanity; it seems that mankind has forgotten what
this man sacrificed for them; your child will change mankind if you can keep
her safe.” The Mother clarified.
Neilaya’s mind
instantly filled with the story of Jesus Christ.
“I promise Mother, I will protect and
raise this child in love and truth.” She whispered.
Tears were now
running down both of their faces as the Mother gave them instructions.
“Evil will come for this Goddess; you
must take up and go to the north-west of your land; go as quickly as you can.”
Suddenly a
light gush of wind blew out the candle and the Mother was gone, leaving the sun
sitting on the horizon as if lying on the ground. Suddenly it quickly
brightened, lighting up the garden, then the Father’s deep voice that had the
sound of a thousand rivers flooded across the garden.
“You shall call this child Amity.
Neilaya and
Sylvia embraced each other with joyful tears for a few moments, then slowly
packed up their items into the red wagon and started toward the house. Joey and
Paul sat silently, patiently waiting for the girls to finish putting their
things back in their rightful places. Once the girls settled into the tiny sofa
Paul questioned the outcome.
“What’s up my Priestess?”
Sylvia turned
and looked deep into Neilaya’s sparkling eyes with a loving smile and whispered.
“It’s a girl.”
Neilaya fell
into her arms and whispered her response.
“It’s a girl.”
Joy lowered
herself into a recliner and leaned back, listening carefully before speaking.
“Okay dear, what are our orders?”
Sylvia took a
deep breath and looked each one in the eyes as Neilaya informed the coven.
“We are moving to Seattle Washington.”
Paul slowly
looked around the room and shook his head with a conclusion.
“It will take a year to pack up this
place.”
Sylvia giggled
at his words as she clarified.
“Don’t be silly Paul, mom and dad
always move it; we just take what we need for the trip and the house will be
there before we get there. I’m trying to figure out who was this first, mom
talked about.”
“Jesus, that’s who she is talking
about.” Neilaya said with confidence.
“I’m sorry love, but there is no deity
called Jesus.” Sylvia told Neilaya.
They all sat in
silence for a few minutes as Neilaya’s mind refused to discount the one that
she was raised to believe was her savior. Suddenly Joey began to yell with
excitement, proud he had paid attention in bible class.
“Yeshua, Yeshua!! Jesus was first
called Yeshua!!”
Sylvia quickly
contradicted as she turned and gave him a strange look.
“No, that can’t be right; Yeshua was
born just after me, he’s my younger brother.”
Neilaya placed
her hand on Sylvia’s cheek, turning her face toward herself.
“Yes, the bible says Yeshua was with
the father from the beginning; Jesus Christ is our little girl’s uncle.”
Sylvia pulled
Neilaya into a tight embrace.
“If I remember correctly, his human
mother was a virgin; Mom and I are definitely going to have to sit down and
have a long, long talk.”
The group sat
in deep contemplation about the conversation when the buzzer that let them know
someone was at the gate began to buzz. Sylvia disentangled from the magnetizing
embrace and headed for the door.
“What?”
It seemed to
take forever before an answer came through the speakers.
“Hey, love.” Kanab said with
his feminine voice.
“Go away Kanab.” Sylvia
demanded.
Neilaya walked
up behind her and listened to the conversation.
“Oh, how I wish I could; there are
rumors up in the ether that are very troubling, I think we really need to talk,
love.”
Neilaya could
hear in both, Sylvia, and Kanab’s voice that neither wanted to see the other. Reached
past Sylvia, she pushed the button that opened the gate.
“Please do come up Kanab, I look
forward to speaking with you.”
Sylvia quickly
followed Neilaya as she headed for the door, then grabbed and spun her to a
quick stop.
“What are you thinking, love?”
Neilaya gently
laid her hand against her cheek with an explanation while turning the doorknob
with the other.
“I’m protecting our unborn daughter, Sweetheart.”
She and Sylvia
stood at the stoop hand and hand watching as Kanab slowly approached with two
gargoyles following close behind. When he reached the stoop, he gave them a
pissed-off look.
“So, you two are now one.”
The two
gargoyles growled as they felt the uneasiness coming from Sylvia, then Neilaya
held her hand up and looked at the gargoyles.
“I got this.”
Sylvia nodded
her head to let them know Neilaya now had authority, so the gargoyles turned
and slowly growled their way back down the drive. Sylvia turned her attention
back to Kanab and gave him a hard stare.
“Say your peace and leave.”
Neilaya gently
put her arm around Sylvia and smiled at him with an invite.
“Please sweetheart, don’t be so rude to
our guest; please Kanab, come inside.”
Sylvia was
stunned when she stepped to one side and gave him a gesture to enter, and he
got a huge grin on his face and proudly strutted through the door. Sylvia
quickly gripped Neilaya’s arm and gritted her teeth.
“What the hell are you doing?”
Neilaya pulled
her through the door as she giggled.
“I think our Djinn has a crush on you.”
“NEILAYA!” Sylvia angrily
whispered.
When everyone
had settled into their seats, Kanab informed them of the unusual activity
concerning the fairies.
“Most of the fairies have left the
ether and descended to the earth realm; the last time this happened a human
gave birth to a God. Are you going to give birth to a god?”
Sylvia gave him
a serious look with her response.
“You said there were rumors, and so for
all you have given me are facts and questions.”
Kanab’s
demeanor had now turned to more of a concerned look.
“Okay smarty pants, some say there are
those who lay in wait up in the ether to devour this god before its birth, so
are you with child?”
Neilaya got a
tremendous smile on her face as she pulled Sylvia close and proudly announced.
“No Kanab, Sylvia is not with child, I am
and it’s not a God; it’s a Goddess.”
Knowing the two
had just recently gotten married, he made his inquiry while staring at her with
a shocked look.
“Who is the father?”
“I am the other parent.” Sylvia proudly
replied.
Thinking he was
being lied to, Kanab shouted his assertion at Sylvia.
“That’s not possible!”
One thing he
knew about Sylvia, being called a liar really pissed her off. Sylvia quickly
sat up in her seat and angrily defend her honor.
“The Father and Mother said it was so;
this is a new beginning.”
Kanab sat and
stared at the two for a long moment.
“I will be in touch.”
Neilaya was
amazed when he just faded away into a mist then was gone.
“Okay, now that was just plain rude;
tell him from now on he is to use the front door just like everyone else.”
Her words
caused Sylvia to break out in laughter as Joy made an announcement.
“Supper is ready.”
Sylvia pulled
Neilaya into her bosom with a request as Joey and Paul instantly ran a race for
the kitchen.
“Love, tonight I want you to call your
dad and tell him we would like to spend Sunday with him at his house.”
“Yeah, we have a lot to explain, hu;
will do, now I’m starved.” Neilaya replied.
She lifted
Sylvia along with herself as she rose from the sofa, then headed for the
kitchen.

CHAPTER SEVEN
ALLIANCES
Neilaya
explained to her dad that she and Sylvia, along with Joey and Paul, and their
new housekeeper Joy, would be moving up to Seattle Washington for college. She
could not bring herself to tell Jim about the Goddess she was carrying inside;
she just couldn’t figure out a good way to explain that sort of situation.
Sylvia parked
her vet in the garage so it could make the trip with the house and planned to
take Neilaya’s Subaru for their long trip. As they all were packing the things
needed, Sylvia turned and spoke to Paul.
“Paul, you and Joey will need to bring
your truck so we can take our pets.”
Paul sat back
on the floor to take a break and asked.
“They can’t just go with the house?”
Sylvia took a
seat next to him, then wrapped her arms around one of his as she explained.
“No lover-boy, gargoyles can’t travail
that far through the ether.”
“This is going to be so cool.” He quietly
declared.
“Yeah, this is the best Coven in the
Universe. I need you to keep a sharp eye out on the way up to Seattle.” She advised.
“Are you expecting trouble?” He queried.
“Yes Paul, it will probably come in
some kind of bad weather.” She informed him.
“Like the weather wardens you have us
reading about.” He question.
Sylvia looked
across the room in a daze while replying.
“Yeah, most are really cool, but there
are those that are pure evil.”
With their
vehicles all packed and the two gargoyles safely covered in the back of the
pickup and a sound night’s sleep, they were on their way. Neilaya and Sylvia
along with Joy in the back seat were in the Subaru with Joey and Paul following
in the truck as they headed north toward Seattle Washington. Several hours
passed with the Coven singing along with the radio and the girls chatting back
and forth to the boys on their two-way radios. A light drizzle was falling from
an overcast sky as Paul’s voice came across the two-way.
“Do you see what I see?”
Sylvia answered
him as she pointed out the roadside sign to Neilaya.
“Yeah babe, I see it; there is a
rest-area one mile ahead, we will stop in there.”
By the time they
pulled in and the boys had squeezed into the back seat of the Subaru,
sandwiching Joy between them, the rain began to fall hard, and the large black
clouds were closing in from the north-west. Sylvia sparked her fingers around
Neilaya’s as she glanced back at the boys and gave an order.
“Okay; Paul and Joey, you two put up a
shield around Joy’s body just like I taught you; Neilaya will protect mine
while Joy and I go see what this is all about.”
Paul looked
over at this little old lady, then gave Sylvia a concerned look.
“Wait, wait; I think I should go with.”
Sylvia turned
and looked back over the seat and gave Joy a trustworthy smile and then turned
back to the front.
“Paul, I do believe Joy has proven she
has the stamina to hold her own.”
Paul’s psyche
flashed back to the many celebrations Joy had participated in and gently took
her hand then gave her a wink and a smile.
“Yeah, she is definitely an asset to
the Coven; okay go.”
“We will be back before you know it,
just hang tight.” Joy said.
Sylvia laid her
head back and closed her eyes as Neilaya felt the energy of the ether flowing
through her veins, she held tight to Sylvia’s hand and made sure to enjoy every
moment of it. With Joy watching her back, Sylvia looked down from the ether
into the black cloud. She could see the slight glow of two weather wardens on
the other side of the horrific storm pulling elements into a large swirling
tornado. When they began to move their energy through the ether in their
direction two Djinns quickly appeared to block their path toward the weather
wardens. Sylvia could tell these were younger Djinn, due to their energy glowing
more of an orange than red. The Djinns threw destructive flash balls Sylvia’s
way as fast as they could pull them together, causing Sylvia and Joy to keep
their attention away from the weather wardens and continuously swat away the
balls of energy as a large tornado began to swirl. Suddenly a bright red form
of energy appeared over the two young Djinns, causing the Djinns to quickly
fade into the ether as the red form glowed bright and then faded into the ether
in pursuit of the younger Djinns. The weather wardens realizing their
protection had deserted them and immediately went into retreat. Sylvia and Joy
began to gently spread the energy back out across the area that the wardens had
pulled together, calming the storm back to its normal drizzle. Pleased with
their work, they drifted back into their bodies. Sylvia opened her eyes and
glanced over at Neilaya and whispered.
“That was not a good situation.”
Neilaya placed
her forehead against Sylvia’s and softly asked.
“I agree, why would the Djinn’s be
helping the Warden’s?”
Sylvia quickly
looked and scolded her with a red flicker in the center of her eyes.
“NEILAYA!! I told you to stay out of the ether
until after Amity is born.”
“I wasn’t up in the ether sweetheart,
promise; I was right here in my body.” Neilaya assured
her.
Sylvia’s eyes grew
big and glittered with silver sparkled while conversing in disbelief.
“Are you saying you could see through
my eyes?”
Neilaya’s large
blue eyes sparkled with silver as she answered.
“Yeah, I guess that’s how it was
working, and thank god Kanab showed up.”
Her words
concerning the Djinn Kanab confused Sylvia.
“What are you talking about, love?”
“Kanab, the bright red form of energy;
that was Kanab, he smiled at me just as he faded away.” Neilaya
explained.
“Why would he do something like that
for humans?” Sylvia softly questioned.
Neilaya gently
pulled her into an electrifying embrace and giggled out the answer.
“I told you sweetheart; our Djinn has a
crush on you.”
“Don’t be silly, Love; Kanab and I have
been fighting in the ether, like, forever.” Sylvia
defended.
Sylvia buried
her face into her hair, enjoying the hypnotizing aroma as Neilaya countered.
“Yeah, kind of like two first graders
playing out on the playground.”
“You really think he likes me.” Sylvia stated.
“No sweetheart, he is in love with
you.” Neilaya enunciated.
Neilaya slowly
moved her warm lips against Sylvia’s, sparking them together in an erotic kiss,
which caused Paul to interrupt.
“Hey, hey, ladies; this is not the time
nor place for Beltane, let’s make up some time.”
He opened the
car door and pulled Joey out and toward the truck. The rest of their trip was
mostly uneventful as they made their way north up along the coastline of Washington,
and darkness settled across the land as they drove out of Port Angeles. Neilaya
noticed all the many tiny lights that were flickering in and out of the woods
along the side of the back highway.
“WOW! I have never seen so many
lightning bugs in my life.”
Sylvia stared
out the window and clarified with a giggle.
“Those aren’t lighting bugs, love;
those are fairies.”
“Really! There are so many.” Neilaya
expressed excitedly.
Sylvia quietly responded while smiling out her
window at one of her mother’s favorite creations.
“Yeah, fairies love to reproduce more
than any other entity in the ether.”
Neilaya slowed
the car as she noticed the flickering lights blocking the road up ahead.
“What’s this all about sweetheart?”
She brought the
Subaru to a complete stop as Sylvia pointed out the side road in the dark.
“They want you to turn right on that
side road, just follow their opening and they will show us the way home.”
She turned
right onto the little back road with the boys following close behind and stayed
between the flickering lights until an obscured drive between two giant pecan
trees came into view, then pulled through an open steel gate.
“STOP!” Sylvia shouted.
She quickly
opened the car door and ran back to the truck, and with help from the boys,
removed the tarp covering their pets.
“We’re home; OUT.”
The two
gargoyles came to life and slowly stepped from the back of the truck, taking
their places on either side of the gate. Sylvia returned to the car where
Neilaya was waiting and quickly settled back into her seat, then pointed in the
direction of their house.
“Okay; go, go, go.”
Neilaya glanced
in the mirror while starting up the drive and watched the huge spark as the
gate closed behind them.
As the father’s
light glistened through the bedroom window Neilaya lay cuddled in Sylvia’s arms
with a slight giggle as a warm sensation covered her body. Sylvia slowly opened
her eyes with a giggle of her own as she listened to the sound of Paul’s extremely
loud snoring echoing through the halls. They both suddenly set straight up in
the bed when an alarming commotion from downstairs came pouring through the
gate com. They instantly ran down the stairs toward the front door with sounds
of Gargoyles locked in battle echoed through the com speakers, along with Kanab
shouting “Let me in” over and over. She instantly pushed the button that opened
the gate and screeched out an order.
“PROTECT KANAB!!”
She instantly
headed for the door with Neilaya hot on her heels. They both quickly exited out
the door still in the buff when Sylvia turned and gave Neilaya a firm look with
another demanding order.
“WAIT HERE! And damn-it, I mean wait
here.”
When she
reached the gate, Kanab lay in the drive flat on his back, brandishing his
feminine human form and breathing hard. The gargoyles had their wings spread
out across the gate and were also breathing hard as fairy lights filled the air
around them. She squatted down by his side and laid her hand onto his chest.
“What the hell, Kanab?”
He slowly
opened his eyes to a nude priestess as his breathing returned to normal, then
slowly gave a summary.
“I do believe I have been blackballed
from the ether.”
“What’s going on Kanab?” She sincerely questioned.
He gave her
perfect exposed body a once over and jokingly commented.
“Damn girl, you look as sexy as you did
when you were a Goddess.”
She slammed her
fist into the center of his chest while giving him a pleasing smile, then
helped him to his feet.
“Ass-hole; let’s get to the house.”
Kanab regained
his posture and held his hand out toward the house with a smile.
“Ladies first.”
Sylvia started
to turn toward the house when she suddenly froze in place, realizing Kanab was
wanting to watch her naked butt. She spun around and gave him a stern look as
she just stood pointing toward the house. He could not stop himself from
chuckling out a retort.
“Can’t blame a man for trying.”
When Neilaya
saw them making their way up the drive, she quickly ducked into the house and
headed up the stairs to throw on some clothes.
Kanab was the
perfect gentleman when they reached the door and opened it while stepping to
the side as a gentleman should. Sylvia gave him a sly smile as she walked past
through the door, knowing his devious plot. He followed behind staring at her
perfectly sculptured human ass as she led the way into the living room. She
pointed at one of the recliners and barked out a command.
“SIT!”
He gently
grinned while examining her well-trimmed bright red bush as he settled into the
seat, then got a gigantic smile watching her exotic nude body slowly climbing
up the stairs one step at a time.
Neilaya was
coming down the corridor when she met Sylvia. Gripping her by the arm, Sylvia
brought her love to a stop and spoke in a serious tone while giving a concerned
look.
“You wait here until I get dressed.”
Neilaya gave her
a quick kiss and brushed off her concern.
“NO! No sweetheart, Kanab will not hurt
me; now stop being silly and go get dressed.”
“LOVE, Kanab don’t like humans.” Sylvia reminded
her.
Neilaya
corrected her with a giggle while pulling out of her grip and quickly headed
for the stairs.
“You are human, and he loves you; so
you’re wrong.”
Sylvia rapidly
headed down the corridor toward the bedroom whispering to herself.
“I can’t believe this is happening.”
Neilaya pulled
two bottles of water from the small refrigerator built into the living-room
wall and handed Kanab one, then settled into the loveseat across from him.
Kanab twisted off the top, raised it toward her as if giving a cheer then took
a sip.
“Thank you Neilaya.”
When Joey and
Paul reached the bottom of the stairs they stopped and looked toward Neilaya
and Kanab for a short moment before continuing to follow the aroma of cooking
food.
Sylvia stopped
at the foot of the stairs and gave Kanab a crazy look then began shaking her
head from side to side as she spoke with a comedic tone in her voice.
“What are you doing Kanab?”
He lifted the bottle
and replied with the smirkiest grin.
“Waiting for you and drinking the water
your better half gave me.”
He slowly lowered
the bottle to his smiling lips as Sylvia turned her attention toward Neilaya.
“Love, Djinns don’t need water or
substance the way we do.”
Neilaya
slightly tilted her head and gave Kanab a coning smile as if to say, “I like
you.” he returned her gesturing smile as Sylvia took a seat next to her,
wrapping her protective arm around her.
“Okay Kanab, what’s happening?”
Again, he
slowly raised the bottle of water to his lips with a devious smile and took
another sip before speaking.
“Rumor has it I protected humans from
the Djinn, and now most of the Djinns want me scattered across the Universe.”
Neilaya turned
and looked into Sylvia’s eyes.
“I told you it was him.”
Sylvia knew
this goes against everything known about the Djinn and agreed before continuing
her inquisition.
“Yes, you did love. Kanab, Djinns do
not care for humans, so why did you do such a thing?”
Kanab leaned
back in his seat, giving the cute little smile he used back in the days when
they battled up in the ether.
“Oh sweetheart, I so much miss the
little spats we once shared up in the ether.”
Neilaya
squeezed up against her with a loud giggle.
“SEE! See, I told you.”
Sylvia kept her
eyes locked on Kanab.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah; so tell me Kanab, if
the whole Djinn body wants you gone, then why don’t they just destroy us all?”
Knowing his back was against the wall, he decided to reveal a Djinn
secret.
“Well love, if they could, they would; this
is their big little secret, it’s not that they hate humans so much, it’s just
that their powers are limited down here in this realm. Believe me, if they had
the power here that they have up in the ether there would be no more humans. Up
in the ether, a fairy is nothing more than an announce, but down here the
fairies can do a lot of damage to a Djinn.”
He sat with a
sober look as if he just committed treason while Sylvia kept her eyes locked
onto him, still not completely convinced of his declaration.
“Kanab, you tried to interfere with our
wedding; so why are you doing this now.”
His smile got a
bit bigger as his feminine body seemed to glow.
“Desire, Desire, Desire; you are a
Goddess, you should not be married to a simple little human, you should be
married to an entity like me.”
Neilaya quickly
jumped to her feet and shouted while looking down at Sylvia with big eyes that
were filled with silver sparkles.
“SEE! I told you; I told you; our Djinn
has a crush on you.”
Neilaya turned
and quickly stepped over to Kanab and wrapped her arms around his neck and
whispered.
“Sylvia loves you too.”
Sylvia quickly
jumped to her feet with a scolding scream.
“NEILAYA!!”
The two stood
and stared into each other’s eyes for a short moment before Neilaya replied.
“Well, you do; I can feel it inside you
every time he comes around.”
Sylvia slowly
went to the bottom of the stairs, then turned back for a moment, giving a
confused look at the two, then she quickly headed up the stairs. Neilaya spoke
to Kanab as she headed for the stairs.
“Go join the boys in the kitchen.”

CHAPTER EIGHT
SEPARATION
Sylvia was sitting in the center of the bed
staring up toward the ceiling with tears slowly slipping down her cheeks when
Neilaya eased into the room and softly climbed up beside her, then pulled her
into a loving embrace.
“Sweetheart, I thought the Mother was
happy when we loved each other.”
Sylvia
explained through jerky breaths as tears rolled down her cheeks.
“You don’t understand; I have been
trying to destroy Kanab for millennia.”
Neilaya tenderly placed her hands on either side of Sylvia’s face and
softly replied.
“No, no sweetheart you haven’t. Both of
you have been playing, if you really wanted to destroy Kanab you could have
easily done that when you were a Goddess.”
Sylvia slammed
her fist into the bed, then turned to look at Neilaya.
“Don’t you think I just figured that
out?”
Neilaya pulled
her back into herself and laid them both down onto the bed. They laid in each
other’s arms for a long moment before both began to loudly giggle
uncontrollably, then Sylvia took a deep breath to calm herself before
whispering.
“Because of us he no longer has a home.
I need to call Mother.”
Neilaya
tenderly pushed Sylvia’s glowing red hair behind her ear with a declaration.
“Yes, he does; he has a home right here,
and no you will not call Mother; we are not going to be calling Mother every
time something doesn’t go our way”
“Okay, your right; but he can’t be a
part of our Coven; I mean; no Djinn has ever celebrated Beltane with a Goddess
or a human before.” Sylvia quickly countered.
“Welp, there’s a first time for
everything; now, I need a shower.” Neilaya giggled.
The boys were chatting,
and Joy was washing the dishes when Neilaya and Sylvia walked into the kitchen.
The girls looked good enough to eat as they took a seat at the table, then
Sylvia made an announcement while looking each one in the eye.
“Paul, Joey, Joy; because of us, Kanab
has lost his home. Neilaya and I would like for him to become part of our
little Coven, but everyone must agree.”
Joy stopped her
chore and broke out into a loud giggle as she reminisced about the old days.
“I remember when you used to chase him
through the ether; you always had an excuse to why you couldn’t catch him.”
Sylvia locked
eyes with him and began to explain why, with tiny silver sparkles dancing
around in her eyes.
“I was there when Kanab was born, and
now I realize I have always had some kind of love for him.”
Kanab spoke
with his feminine voice.
“Yeah, I remember; I have never
forgotten that day, because you were there.”
Sylvia shook
her head back to reality and looked around the table, then asked for a vote
while raising her hand, along with Neilaya and Joy.
“Everyone in favor.”
Paul and Joey
looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders as they raised their hands.
Neilaya turned her attention to Kanab with confirmation.
“Great, welcome home.”
Sylvia took a deep breath and made a recommendation.
“Neilaya and I should contact the fairy
Godmother today.”
Neilaya’s eyes
seemed to bulge out just a bit as she turned and stared at Sylvia.
“Wait, wait; are saying there is really
a Fairy Godmother?”
Sylvia
instantly responded with a giggle.
“Of course, love; there are fairies, so
why is it so hard to believe there would be a Fairy Godmother?”
Neilaya stared
across the kitchen in a daze as she quietly surmised.
“WOW! I still have so much to learn.”
Sylvia gently
pulled her into a luminous embrace as she agreed.
“Yes; yes you do, love.”
The rest of the
day the Coven sat in the living-room listening to Kanab explaining how the Djinn
were very angry about a new goddess being brought into the Earth realm begotten
by a human, knowing this event would have wide-reaching consequences. He told
horror stories about Djinn destroying fairies out of anger up in the ether and
that most fairies had descended to the Earth realm for protection, and now the two
were locked in battle. The terror of the conversation confused Neilaya a bit,
so she questioned why the Creator would bring such mean creatures into
existence.
“Wait, why did the father form such a malicious
entity?”
Sylvia
explained while letting their energy flow back and forth through their bodies
as they held hands.
“Love, the Father did not create the Djinn.
The Mother created the fairies which caused an equal opposite reaction;” “the Djinn.”
“Soooo, Father didn’t create everything
in the universe like I was taught?” Neilaya asked.
“No love; I mean, Father did not create
Evil, he created Desire and Love; that caused Evil to become; action and
reaction.” Sylvia explained.
“So, there are entities in the ether
that the Father didn’t create.” Neilaya whispered in a question form.
“Yes love, Father and Mother created
the ether to keep humans separate from the spirit world, then a few of the gods
came down to the earth and began to have sex with the humans; well, Father got
really, really pissed about that, but the reaction was done, a rift was made
between the two, and like creatures on earth evolve so do entities in the
ether.” Sylvia explained.
“The big flood.” Neilaya
whispered.
“Yeah; like I said, Father got really,
really pissed.” Sylvia confirmed.
Mid-afternoon,
Sylvia ordered her little Coven into the green circle in the center of the
garden to call upon the four powers, they all stood in a circle with their
fingers intertwined up in the air as Sylvia gave direction.
“No matter what happens, no one move.”
Sylvia focus on
calling the Fairy Godmother as Paul, not want to interrupt the flow of energy,
spoke softly.
“Are you expecting something
different?”
Sylvia cautioned
as the dark clouds began forming up above the garden.
“Yes, this is the first time a Djinn
has joined a Coven.”
Bright streaks
of lightning flashed roundabout the outside of their circle and strong winds
began to blow the rain sideways as they stood their ground. With the pouring
rain soaking the three girl’s see-through gowns, being nude would have sufficed
just as well. As suddenly as the four powers started the on-slot, they stopped.
A complete silence engulfed the garden and the Coven prevailed unbroken, then
there was a loud demanding female voice inundating the space.
“On whose authority does a human call
on me?”
Attempting to speak with authority, Sylvia quickly identified herself
with a quiet, nervous voice.
“The Mother Goddess of life sanctioned
the summons; for it is I, Desire.”
Fairy Godmother was silent for a moment before responding.
“I beg your forgiveness Goddess Desire;
I did not recognize you in human form.”
Sylvia moved
her eyes side to side as she expounded, hoping to get a glimpse of her mother’s
best friend, but to no avail.
“I called on you because there is
trouble in the ether and on Earth.”
“Tell me something I don’t already
know, and don’t say you have a Djinn among your Coven; I can see that.” Fairy Godmother
tendered.
Sylvia instantly made her request.
“Okay Fairy Godmother, you have been
hanging around my mother too much. With this situation it’s imperative there be
constant communication between the fairies and my Coven.”
Once again,
silence fell across the garden for a moment before she concurred.
“I will meet with your Mother soon and
I will send a Fairy to you, her name will be Twinkles.”
“Thank you, Fairy God-Mother.” Sylvia
whispered.
After all items
were put back in their place, and they dried off, they put on their around the
house clothes and settled into the living-room. When the commlink began to buzz,
Sylvia and Neilaya quickly went to the door.
“Who is it?” Sylvia asked.
A young
sounding sweet voice with sounds of gargoyles purring in the background came
through the speaker.
“I just LOVE your pets; they are so
cute. My name is Twinkles.”
“Yes Twinkles, come in.” Sylvia invited.
No sooner than
Sylvia pushed the button to open the gate, there was a gentle knock at the door.
Knowing there was no way this entity waited for the gate to open all the way
caused Neilaya to giggle loudly while heading in that direction. She opened the
door to find a young angelic looking girl.
Twinkles is
large for a fairy, standing five-foot with full wavy light blond hair that
flows all the way down to her waist, and illuminating sky blue eyes with silver
flakes sparkling inside. Neilaya noticed she seemed more prestigious than archetypical
as she stepped to the side to let her in.
“Please do come in.”
Twinkles gave a
compliment while slowly looked the tall beautiful blonde human up and down.
“O.M.G.! You are so cute, love; Desire
is one lucky Goddess.”
Neilaya’s face
blushed while gazing into her blue eyes, then realized she now possessed the
ability to perceive the personal perspective that this deity was feeling. Loving
Twinkles sentiment, she respectfully returned the compliment.
“Not near as beautiful as you, sweetie.”
When Neilaya
and Twinkles walked into the room Kanab forgot Sylvia existed for a quick
moment. Neilaya smile as she perceived Kanab’s perspective of the beautiful
Fairy, but Twinkles froze in place and her eyes quickly glowed bright red at
the sight of a Djinn. He quickly made a mad dash behind the couch while
shouting.
“Woe, woe, woe; I’m on your side; I’m
on your side!”
Sylvia instantly
stepped between him and Twinkles with her eyes glowing red.
“Kanab is a part of my Coven; he can be
trusted.”
As Sylvia stood
firm and tall with red eyes and red glowing hair, Twinkles recognized the tall
redhead and quickly went down on one knee, looking toward the floor.
“Please forgive me Goddess Desire, I
was not told of the Djinn.”
Twinkles
quickly covered her face with her long hair and kept her eyes to the floor in
fear of what kind of punishment a goddess could impose on a fairy. Sylvia
reached and helped the tiny deity up into a standing position.
“Stand up Twinkles, my name is Sylvia,
I’m human. I’m not doing the Goddess thing right now.”
Twinkles looked
around the room at each member of Sylvia’s little Coven, then flew across the
room in a flash when her eyes fell on Joy. She pulled her into a tight embrace
while shouting excitedly.
“O.M.G. ~ O.M.G.; I have been searching
everywhere for you.”
“That’s how missions go sometimes; but
you’re here now and I’m happy to see you.” Joy replied.
Twinkles
released her, then quickly reached into a pocket and pulled out a smart phone
and began pushing the buttons.
“O.M.G. I just have to tell Stormy I
found you.”
Joy laughed out her response.
“A smart phone; really Twinkles.”
“Hey, it’s the new rave now. Stormy
sends her love.” Twinkles giggled back.
She slipped her
phone back into her pocket as Sylvia began to speak.
“Okay everyone, take a seat.”
Sylvia’s Coven
deliberated on the situation and knocked around ideas. Twinkles told how most
Fairies had to leave the ether and come down into the safety of the earth
realm. She explained that the Fairies that stayed were pregnant and could not
leave.
Fairies can
only give birth in the ether, and if the Djinn were not brought under control
the Fairies would dwindle in numbers. She told of the war that was taking place,
and how the Fairies were no longer letting the Djinn enter the earth realm,
which gave Kanab no choice but to reveal another Djinn secret.
“Wait, you can’t separate us from the
earth realm; The Djinn must enter the earth realm, they survive on the energy
that comes from lightning; that’s our food, without it we will die.”
Twinkles scrutinized
him with anger prevalent all over her face.
“You kill us, we kill you; why are the Djinn
so angry anyway?”
Neilaya
whispered as she leaned into Sylvia, thinking this was all her fault.
“I am pregnant with the daughter of
Desire.”
Twinkles spun and gripped both of Neilaya’s hands with a shocked
expression.
“WHAT!! A Goddess child to be born of a
human! Now that’s a hill worth dying for.”
Twinkles
glanced over at Kanab, and each gave the other an agreeing nod as he concurred
with a wink.
“Yes, I agree; this child must be
protected.”
Twinkles looked
away and rolled her eyes at his wink, but admitted to herself how handsome and
sexy this Djinn really was.
Sylvia realized
how dangerous the ether had become and considered if there might be allies
willing to help
“Kanab, are there any Djinn you can
trust to help stop this madness?”
He took a moment to think before answering.
“Maybe a few of the elders, but the
younger Djinn don’t realize what’s at stake.”
Twinkles instantly warned him of the annihilating outcome if they did
not find a resolution.
“Well they better figure it out fast or
they will cause a devastating war that can last a millennium.”
Neilaya quickly
sat up and looked into Sylvia’s eyes with tears drifting down her cheeks.
“NO!! God no; no way we can allow that
to happen.”
Sylvia consoled her bride, then gave each one their orders.
“No love, we will not let that happen.
Kanab, go and find us some Djinn allies, you can come and go as you please.
Twinkles go tell the Fairy Godmother what’s at stake here, you may go and come
as you please. Neilaya and I will call on the Weather Wardens. Joey, Paul, and
Joy practice your powers.”
Kanab and
Twinkles turned and smiled at each other through big eyes, this was the first
time in history that a Goddess has given a Djinn and a Fairy the freedom to go
and come from a protected castle at will, and both faded from the room at the
same time.
“Damn-it, they were supposed to use the
door.” Neilaya whispered in a daze.
Sylvia
pulled her up and toward the garden with their directive.
“Come, love, let go and give the
Weather Wardens a call.”
The circle was
drawn, and the powers of wind, fire, earth, and water were called. Sylvia and
Neilaya stood in the center of the garden with their fingers interlocked, then
Neilaya quietly inquired.
“So how are we going to do this?”
“We are going to create a stationary
tornado that reaches all the way up to the ether; the Wardens don’t know about
us yet, so we have to get their attention.” Sylvia
explained.
They began to
pull energy and molecules together, putting them into a spin. They kept the
tornado twirling for a few minutes, then spread the energy back out to normal.
Sylvia held onto Neilaya’s hand as she headed them in the direction of the
house.
“That should do the trick, now let’s go
inside and wait for a visit.”
They sat
waiting for their visitor to show up until they heard the front door open. They
quickly turned and looked toward the short hallway and saw Kanab entering the
living-room and settled down into one of the recliners with a remark about his
entrance.
“Yeah, yeah; I heard what you said.”
“Thank you.” Neilaya said
with a gentle smile.
Twinkles came
walking out through the kitchen door with a glass of orange juice and sat in
the recliner next to Kanab.
“This is my fave.”
“Okay, I have two hundred of the elders
that are willing to talk.” Kanab informed them.
Suddenly the
buzzer buzzed, letting them know someone was at the gate. Neilaya quickly
jumped and went to the door.
“Who is it?”
A man with
authority in his deep voice began to speak.
“This is John Smith from the W. W. A.”
Neilaya thought
for a quick moment and realized he was talking about the Weather Warden
Association, then pushed the button that opened the gate.
“Yes, Mr. Smith, please wait until the
gate is all the way open or the gargoyles will get pissed.”
John replied
with a tone of belief in his voice.
“Understood.”
Sylvia spoke to
the Coven as she headed over to Neilaya.
“We will wait for John Smith to join
us; he is an important part of this.”
They watched a
huge man standing six-foot-five exit a large black S. U. V. John weighed in at
two-hundred-sixty-five lbs. of pure strength, with gray hair in a military cut
and big brown eyes. He was an older handsome man with the look of many, many
battles under his belt.
“ I’m John Smith from the Weather
Association, we detected a bizarre weather phenomenon in this area; would you
know anything about that?”
“Yes John, it was the fastest way that
we could contact you; please come in.” Sylvia
answered.
Sylvia turned
and led the way into the house as John followed, he rubbed his large hand
across his short hair while giving Neilaya a glancing smile.
“Have a seat John and I will introduce
you to everyone.” Sylvia said.
Neilaya slowly
took her seat as John looked around at the tiny furniture that filled the room.
“I’m fine.”
Realizing just
how huge this Weather Warden was, Sylvia quickly rose back to her feet pulling
Neilaya up with her, then headed for the kitchen with an apology.
“I’m sorry John, I’m being rude;
everyone to the kitchen table.”
John smiled
when he entered the kitchen and saw a large full-size table with ten big
comfortable chairs. Once everyone settled into their seats, Sylvia introduced each
one, then began to explain the situation to John. He listened closely to her
report, then gave his assessment.
“If what you say is true and this child
your wife carries is a genuine Goddess, this could change all of humanity.”
“Yes John; that’s what Neilaya and I
were chosen for.” Sylvia replied.
“So how does this involve the W. W.
A.?” He asked.
Knowing the
power that Fairies could wield in the Earth realm, Twinkles quickly involved
herself into the conversation.
“Fairy Godmother said she will allow Djinn
to enter the earth realm in selected locations so they can feed, but only if
the Fairies that must remain up in the ether are protected from harm. The
Weather Wardens can supply the lightning they require, but if any Djinn causes
problems the locations will be cut off.”
Kanab quickly added to the dialog.
“There are many Djinn that work for
dark magic, they will not cooperate.”
“Then I suggest the Djinn weed them out
and not let them feed until they do.” Twinkles
demandingly replied.
John informed them of the Warden’s own
problems with the dark side.
“We also have Weather Wardens that work
for black magic; so I guess we all have our work cut out for us.”
John rose from
the table and looked down at Sylvia, causing her to quickly rise and give her
appreciation.
“Let me show you out John and thank you
for coming.”
“You have my personal number; call as
soon as you have the coordination where the Djinn will feed.” He requested.
He followed her
out the door with Neilaya close behind. The two beauties that were now one
stood on the stoop and watched this giant of a man walk around his vehicle,
then pause for a moment as he held his door open, looked back at the girls with
a question.
“Are you Wiccan?”
“No, we are Pagan, and I am the
Priestess.” Sylvia proudly answered.
“I know you have the power of the wind;
do you have any control of the other elements?” He asked.
“Yes John; we are as a general, with
all four powers, and much more.” She responded.
Again, John
rubbed his hand across his short gray hair as he stared at the girls.
“Keep in touch, dear.” He chuckled.

CHAPTER NINE
NEW BEGINNING
The boys were
in their bedroom sound asleep, and Joy was in hers. Neilaya and Sylvia were
wrapped in each other’s arms in their canopy bed slowly drifting into
dreamland. Neilaya held her breath for a few seconds, so to hear the silence,
then whispered.
“Sweetheart, do you hear that?”
Sylvia lay
still and listened to the faint sound.
“Yeah, that’s weird.”
The two laid
quiet, cuddling together for a few moments, listening to the sound that wasn’t
there.
“I’m going up into the ether and see
what it is.” Sylvia whispered.
As she closed
her eyes Neilaya quickly placed a shield around her body, then made a request.
“You be careful, sweetheart.”
“Love.” She whispered
back.
She was back
into her body almost as soon as she had floated up into the ether, trying hard
to keep her giggling under control and quiet. Neilaya instantly whispered.
“What did you see?”
Sylvia turned
and looked at her with bright silver sparkles dancing in her eyes and a large
smile and quietly giggled the answer.
“It’s Kanab and Twinkles.”
Neilaya gave
her a disbelieving look.
“What on earth are they doing?”
“What do you think?” Sylvia giggled.
Neilaya loudly
whispered in disbelief.
“OMG. ~ A Djinn and a fairy.”
“I know; right.” Sylvia agreed.
Sylvia pulled
Neilaya back into their cuddling sleep position as both quietly giggled.
The Father's
light brightened the day as it rose above the horizon, and Joy hummed a
cheerful tune while she and Sylvia cooked breakfast. Neilaya, Joey, and Paul
were sitting at the table when Kanab and Twinkles came through the kitchen
door. Everyone turned and stared at the silvery sparkles dancing around
Twinkles body, and Joy stopped and give a loving smile when Twinkles walked up
beside her, then Twinkles leaned against her and whispered.
“Why is everyone staring at me?”
“We could hear you and Kanab last
night.” Joy whispered back with a smile.
“DAMN-IT!!” Twinkles
instantly shouted.
She quickly
turned and stormed out of the kitchen as Kanab slowly looked around the table.
“What. What’s wrong?” He demanded.
Paul leaned
back in his seat with a gigantic smile, then chuckled out.
“You and Twinkles make a lot of noise
when Y'all are playing house.”
He instantly
jumped up from the table with a shout as he went in search of Twinkles.
“DAMN-IT!!”
She was sitting
out on the front stoop when he found her. He carefully eased down beside her, giving
a cute smile her way with a love bump with his shoulder against hers.
“You know I love you, right?”
Twinkles pushed
back up against his shoulder with her childish smile.
“Yeah, I know Kanab; I have fallen for
you also; but I’m in so much trouble.”
He gently
slipped his arm around her shoulder.
“There are no laws or rules that say we
can’t be with each other.”
“I know, but no Fairy has ever been
with a Djinn before.” She elaborated.
“There is a saying here in this realm.
Welp, there’s a first time for everything.” He chuckled
out.
As they sat
considering each other’s words they both began giggling.
Neilaya and
Sylvia were sitting in the living-room when Kanab and Twinkles came back into
the house holding hands, and Sylvia pointed to the other small loveseat.
“Sit.”
Twinkles was
shaking as she sat next to Kanab, worried that this Goddess was going to dish
out a stern punishment for their actions. She may even suspend their freedom to
go and come as they pleased she worried.
“O.K. here’s the deal, the first
feeding for the Djinn will be today at noon and I need you two to be there; I
want you two to let it be known that you’re in charge; also proclaim to all
that you two are a couple.” Sylvia requested with authority.
Twinkles slowly
brought her eyes up to meet hers and nervously asked.
“Sooo, we’re not going to be punished?”
Sylvia
clarified her position on love with a smile.
“Love is never punished here; I have
cared about Kanab for a long time, and I am happy you two found each other. Now
get ready for your mission.”
Neilaya and
Sylvia returned to the kitchen to join the others for breakfast, as they
settled into their seats Joy began speaking.
“Are you two going to the feeding?”
“That sounds so dark, “The feeding” but
yes we will be there.” Sylvia answered.
“It is what it is. Do you think John
will be there?” Joy ambiguously sought.
Sylvia froze in
place and smiled at the small elderly woman with her best devious smile.
“Would you like to come with?”
Joy’s
words caused the room to fill with laughter as she quickly headed out of the
kitchen in the direction of her bedroom with an exclamation.
“I need time to fix my hair.”
As they made
their way to the designated feeding spot, Sylvia and Neilaya kept glancing over
at each other with big smiles as Joy kept looking into her powder-puff mirror
to make sure she was looking her best. John was waiting at the place where
countless Fairies had built a column of light about one mile across as the
Weather Wardens were given the mission of constantly created lightning within
the confinement. Kanab and Twinkles were at the outer edge of the column
holding hands and supervising as each Djinn angrily glanced their way when they
passed in and out of the ether. Neilaya noticed a spot in the column that
glowed much brighter than the rest
“WOW! Look at all the Fairies around
Twinkles, they are glowing much brighter than the rest of them.”
“Oh no, sweet Mother of life.” Joy whispered
with big eyes.
They all turned
and looked her way.
“What, what’s wrong.” Sylvia quickly
asked.
Joy stood
staring up at the bright shining Fairies that encircled Twinkles and made a
sobering statement.
“Twinkles is pregnant.”
Sylvia quickly tried to squash such a notion.
“WHAT! How; I mean; no, that’s exactly what I
mean; HOW?”
Everyone
instantly turned and looked back toward Twinkles.
“Kanab, that’s how.” Joy replied
point-blank.
“How is that even possible?” John whispered.
“Does she know?” Neilaya
delicately wondered out loud.
Joy noticed the
look that flashed across Twinkles face when she saw everyone staring in her
direction. She gripped Kanab by the hand and they both quickly faded away.
“I think she just figured it out.” Joy announced.
“And we thought our baby was era-genetic.” Neilaya
whispered to Sylvia.
“This is the year that is going to
change the Universe.” Sylvia whispered back.
They stood hand
and hand cherishing the feeling of energy flowing back and forth through their
bodies, while John turned his attention toward Joy.
“Well I’m hungry, would you care to
grab a bite?”
“I thought you would never ask.” She replied
with a big smile.
Wrapping her
hands tight around his large arm, they headed toward his large SUV.
Sylvia and
Neilaya stayed and oversaw the mission until the fairies had closed the column
and shut off the Djinn from the earth realm, then they jumped into the Subaru
and headed home. As they rode along, Sylvia began to think aloud.
“You know; if Twinkles’s child has the
power of both the Fairies and the Djinn then it will be a very powerful deity.”
Neilaya turned
and gave her a concerned look and curiously responded.
“I thought Fairies could only reproduce
up in the ether. Do you think her baby will be as powerful as Amity?”
Sylvia glanced
over at her with a suggestion.
“No, love; no entity can be as powerful
as a God or Goddess, but good point about the birth of the Fairies; maybe we
should call Mother.”
“No; we can call the Fairy Godmother
and she will talk to Mother.” Neilaya countered.
“Very sneaky, love.” Sylvia alleged
with a smile.
“Yeah, I know; I love you.” Neilaya
replied.
Neilaya wrapped
her fingers around Sylvia’s and laid her head against her shoulder, Sylvia kept
her eyes on the road while resting her head on top of Neilaya’s.
“And I love you more.”
Kanab and
Twinkles set on a ledge overlooking a secluded part of the Grand-Canyon
watching a bald eagle gliding through the air. Twinkles body was trembling as
she laid up against him with a warning.
“We are in so, so much trouble, Kanab.”
He wrapped both
his arms around Twinkles and held her tight.
“No; no we’re not; one thing I have
learned being with the Coven is that all life is given by the Mother Goddess of
Life.”
“Are you telling me that the Mother of
life already knows I’m pregnant?” Twinkles
apprehensively asked.
“Yeah, if you are pregnant the Mother
had a hand in it.” He assured her.
She forcefully made a declaration.
“Oh, I’m pregnant alright, and it’s a
boy.”
“Wait, you can tell if it’s a boy or a
girl?” He asked in disbelief.
“Yeah, Fairies can tell these things.” Twinkles said
with confidence.
“Well, the sun is down so let’s go
home.” Kanab suggested.
He stood and
lifted his love up in his arms as she whispered.
“Home; another thing I will have to get
used to saying.”
She wrapped her
arms around his neck and pulled him into an erotic kiss as they faded into the
ether.
The Coven were
watching the big screen when Kanab and Twinkles slipped through the front door
hand and hand. The girls quickly jumped and gathered around Twinkles with
loving hugs. Paul and Joey grabbed their jackets along with Kanab and headed
for the door.
“Later.” Paul yelled
out.
“Remember; you can look, but don’t
touch.” Neilaya yelled out behind the boys.
Twinkles gave
Neilaya a strange look.
“What does that mean?”
Neilaya gave
her a hug with a slight Giggle.
“Bachelor party; they’re going to take
Kanab to a strip club.”
Twinkles
quickly looked toward the door.
“Wait, you mean one of those places
where female humans dance nude?”
“Yep, and we are going to spend the
evening talking with our mothers.” Sylvia informed her.
Sylvia gently
took her by the hand and headed for the garden.
“I’m in so, so much trouble.” Twinkles
quietly said.
“Don’t be silly, love; everyone is
happy for you; we just need to find out how this works; you’re not in the
ether.” Sylvia assured her.
They all walked
down the yellow brick sidewalk toward the big green center circle.
The circle was
drawn, and the powers were all called as the girls sat naked in a circle
holding hands and pulling energy from the Earth. A shining silvery fog filled
the garden in a silent downward drift. They sat quietly and watched a baseball
size bright light drift down amongst them and float into Twinkles belly, which
caused her midsection to glow brightly.
“Is that you Mother?” Sylvia softly
asked.
“Yes love, all of the heavens are
celebrating with joy today.” Goddess Mother of Life gently said.
Twinkles was filled with relief when Fairy Godmother made her
declaration.
“All of the Fairies are proud that you
have been chosen for this special gift.”
Twinkles replied
with apprehension in her voice.
“I’m afraid for my child Mother, for
I’m not in the ether.”
With a comforting tone, Fairy Godmother explicated.
“You are to stay out of the ether until
the child is born, you conceived in the earth realm, and you shall give birth
in the earth realm.”
Then Mother of
Life began to speak.
“You and Neilaya will give birth on the
same day. Raise these children together for they will become as one; also,
these children will age three to one of a human child for ten earth years, then
will age no more. Keep these children protected from evil and keep them wrapped
in love, for they shall be messengers of the new beginning; but if you allow
evil in, it will be the end.”
When the
silvery fog had vanished, the garden lit up brightly and the Father of
Creations voice filled the air with the sound of a thousand rivers, speaking to
Kanab.
“You shall call this child Aim.”
The girls
hugged and giggled as the circle began to glow bright silvery from the
twinkling lights of the many, many Fairies dancing around in the air. As the
girls made their way back toward the house a small figure faded into view,
Twinkles ran to take the Fairy into a loving embrace.
“O M G; Stormy!”
Stormy is a
Small Fairy, standing only three feet tall and slim in shape, with the usual
luminous sky-blue eyes and long flowing light blond hair.
Stormy reached
up and wrapped her arms around Twinkles neck and pulled her down into a tight
hug.
“I am so proud of you sister; I heard
the news and just had to come and see you, but I can’t stay, too much going on
right now; I will come next week and spend a whole day with you; got to go; I
love you sister.”
Twinkles
introduced the girls to Stormy while keeping her arm around her shoulder, then Stormy
gave her a kiss on the cheek.
“I love you sis; got to go.”
Twinkles
watched Stormy fade into a tiny light and disappear into the distance. The
decision was made that Neilaya and Sylvia would not go to the public college,
but instead take their college over the internet. Kanab and Twinkles were now
living in the mansion. The Djinn were weeding out the dark ones and forcing
them into a distant part of the ether. The dark Djinns discovered they could
feed from the energy of the sun; it was painful for them to do so, but they
could survive. By the time Twinkles and Neilaya’s due date was at hand the
Fairies and the good Djinn had made a truce, and the Djinn were once again free
to come and go from the earth realm to feed. Kanab had been given the
leadership of the Djinn and it was well known throughout the ether that he and
Twinkles were married, and Twinkles would soon be giving birth to a new God
like deity that would forever tie the Djinn and the fairies together. Joy moved
in with John, but also was given the duties of midwife, to be the one to
